    Morning all :)

I couldn't sleep last night.. Went to bed at 2.15am (I know, I know!), talked to OH for a while, got told to shut up (in the nicest possible way ) cos he has work this morning, so fetched Christmas gift guides, flicked through them, no inspiration at all, got out of bed at 3am, back online to order a few bits, and back to bed at 4.30am and just got up.

Rhys is still sparko; nurses expected at 11am so he'd better be up by then! Then friends round this afternoon so I need to have a quick tidy up.. but first, a hot cuppa :D

    Morning all,

Not been on over the weekend so can anyone update me on anything important?

Had a funeral on Saturday – not a nice way to spend a freezing cold day, standing around a graveyard, particularly when I already had the cold. Then I came down with some sort of bug and still feeling dodgy, so spent Sat night and yesterday in bed with a fever. We began to put the tree up on Saturday, but never got round to decorating it due to falling ill so just have a massive green tree in the living room!

Dragged myself out to take Holly for her second lot of jags this morning. She did really well and is now having a nap. She has had the cold for about 2 weeks now. I wish it would shift. Not sure if she is starting teething too as she is drooling loads, her hands are never out her mouth, and her cheeks are very rosy. She is getting louder and more chatty, and has taken much more of an interest in her toys in the past week – putting them in her mouth and holding them etc. Before this, she just looked at them and chatted to them a bit!

GISI – hope you get your heating fixed. It’s not the weather for it. Our boiler is making some noise, so waiting on my dad getting a friend to look at it before it goes. My house is cold enough!

Annielove – I am having my own car seat dilemma with Holly due to her height v development. Not really sure what you should do, but I think you are meant to move them up to the next seat once their head is above the shell as it’s not protecting them then. I think I would risk putting him into the bigger seat even if he is slightly below the weight range, but that’s just me guessing.

fingers crossed he does the same tonight!

    and another omg :eek::eek::eek:
DH went to drive this morning and the brakes failed on his car:eek::eek::eek: luckily he was only turning around to go... rang AA as he has the homestart and they are coming tonight to have a look. asked them to come this morning but he has to be here.
thankfully he's at the new shop so isnt a nightmare to get to for him like trafford would have been.

Hi Fitzio, hope you and Holly feel better soon.
    LOL at big green tree!
I think we may have a tooth here! I can feel it. its just cut the gum and no more! Need a second opinion from OH before I declare it a tooth tho and hes in bed after night shift last night.

OH has a funeral to go to tomorrow. One of his friends from his early twenties days committed suicide last week. Hes still pretty shocked about it.

Kieren slept the same! he usually does 10pm til 6am so the wee extra hour was nice! It was really funny cos the night before last he shuffled non stop in his sleep and ended up round the wrong way, legs hanging out the crib, blankets off etc and I never slept a wink! Last night however he lay perfectly still and didn't so much as crinkle the blanket! Don't even think he moved to fart lol

Morning all - hugs all around. Can't stop since my mother and brother are here and I need all my concentration not to say something inappropriate.

    Hi Sami

I've got a tassimo too but have found now, since preg, that the lovely latte tastes like an ashtray. They recently sent me the new Carte Noir latte to try though and that seems much better, but the price is hideous. Did you, or anyone else, find that the coffee tastes changed when preg. Still tastes like it now sadly, though I keep trying in case it gets better.

I don't drink coffee so not a clue :o Are the nasty ones all from the same pack?
I remember my mum got a jar of her usual coffee once and it smelt 7 tasted like a mixture of coffee, manure and ashtray _pale_ but it was just that one jar

Annie - I'm not sure what the best thing is, I ended up having 2 grp0 seats for Chris because he was too tall in the body for his original one at around 6 mths
