I just use the hose and on board tool attachments for this. I had a cylinder once but it got on my tits draging it about and I used to loose the rag with it  Much prefer upright cos I hoover every day :o

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:This was me about an hour ago...I was actually shouting at the stupid thing and nearly ended up throwing it down the stairs:o

Just been looking and the animal one has a long hose too, so easy for the stairs:T Oooh I am so excited:o

Yeah, we had an upright before that but it was useless, so bought a Henry...about 10yrs ago, he is still going strong and has excellent suction but I am sick of his behaviour:p

You lot have convinced me I am definitely getting a Dyson:T
    But not a DC-27...apparantly;)

Henry's never agreed with me. Just never worked for us.

Don't take my word on the DC-27, but it is a bit heavier than some machines. I'm not knowing your strength in comparison to mine and i've never had another Dyson to check against :o

Mel - according to amazon the DC18, 24 and 25 are all lightweight uprights if that helps :)
Do you have a local shop that repairs them? there's one near me that is legit but gets massive discounts no idea how but my mum got one from there that was £60 cheaper than the best deal I could find on the web x

My turn now :D, anyone know where I can get Children's stainless steel cuttlery from? I want a set or 2 for Chris, must be all metal no plastic handles TIA
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

  • Ouch mel, ouch :o

On that note, i'm off shopping with Lucy and youngest 4. Oldest 3 are out with friends and they had to be reassured by Lucy she really didn't mind. They best be back by 6 though, for Lucy's big moment or i'll not be happy.

Have a lovely afternoon everyone, hoovering or otherwise.
