Kai was a pain last night, boys were a pain this morning, dh is being a pain now;)

MOTM - I think you were being very considerate, and I hope she appreciates it:)

I hope your 'pains' are being a little less painful now :o

We talked, she's fine, it's just going to be hard to know when the right time is with her history. I could wait forever and live off the hugs and kisses, but she feels she's not being considerate of me if we wait.

I liked being single as it had less complications :o
Morning all. I can't believe there were 5 pages between me going to bed and getting back on here this morning! I made Izzy a mini cooked breakfast this morning - scrambled eggs, cocktail sausages, half a fried tomato and some bread. She is now wrecking the place, so it has obviously set her up nicely for the day :rotfl:. Now if only DH would wake up I could get the hoovering done and we could go out - there is a lovely Christmas market in town, and Izzy has been round it with nursery (they take them out in the buggy if the weather is nice), but I've not seen it yet. I want to head in early or it will be a nightmare!

MOTM - bless you for being so sensative :)

She's going to be full of beans after that breakfast!

Shopping at this time of year is terrible, which is why i've prepared for everything but non Christmas things. Not as prepared as those prepared for 2010, but prepared enough.

Sensitive, considerate.....bleurgh. Sometimes you think you do the right thing, even know you've done the right thing, yet you feel awful for it. As I said above, being single was easy :o

OMG ds1 has just come down telling racist jokes!!! He won't tell us where he got them from, I mean obviously it was school, but those kids must have got them from their parents.....I am annoyed and we are now trying to explain why the jokes are racist!!!!

Difficult one and not one I envy. I said something similar on another thread about manners yesterday, that these things are often caught from parents, just as much as other children.

(motm, sorry for not saying mums and dads!)

had a good old chat with dp and I don't think he'd realised how stressy I was so lots of hugs and a nice lunch out and even shopping yesterday made me feel better. I know logically that however he gets here, all that matters is that the little man arrives safely, I just need to get my head round it. And Monday is only 2 days away, if it ends up being a mammoth labour then so be it, and I'll be joining you all here shortly. Thank you again, you are a lovely bunch of peoples xxx

No worries. It could be worse, every day someone on here is saying 'men this men that' so we men get a bad deal, good parents or not :rotfl:

I once asked a staff member of Iceland if it was okay if I came in the shop as the adverts said 'mums'. She was really grumpy with me  I don't think she remembers me, but she's always being grumpy with everyone. Moral of the story, don't be offended by others reactions to you as a person or race - unless it's aggressive of course

I've learnt some of the online lingo, but what is dp? Darling.....partner?

Will look forward to seeing you on here regularly as a Mother shortly and best of luck with the labour!

Random comment I know but have decided we dont like Lidls for shopping compared to Aldi's

We don't like either as they rush you and 7 kids don't like being rush. I don't like being rushed and have words, but the kids have picked up on it and also have words now, at least the more forward ones :o

Glam and Carla were talking about this the other day, think Carla was freaked by it! Don't like scary films so I'd vote no lol
