hugs jakesmummy. that sunds hard :(

I'm sure it's not your fault. He's just learning to assert his independance by being grumpy when he wants. To me (not that I know yet first hand) I think it shows you are a good parent because he can be a bit non-compliant when he needs to be. I'd be more worried ifa child was unusually good and happy all the time cos it's probably that they were a bit scared!:rotfl:

poor not sleeping tia. Hope you can cope with today and not feel too exhausted.

hello kristal :) have you put a little sudo around aimee and caitlin's bottom's at night and first thing to switch off the itch?

Weezl- he works shifts so is on rest days at the mo, plus has a couple of extra as he had to go to court (for work) the week after Henry was born!

oh I feel bad for bragging about dh being off now:rotfl:. I remember you were alone for the night a little while ago :( how often are those times?

  • He does two days, two lates and two nights then has four days off. It takes a bit of getting used to, but will work out well when I'm back at work as he is around so much. At the moment he is off till Sunday which is lovely for all of us. Unfortunately because Henry was 15 days late he had used some of his paternity/AL before he was even born, and he had two court days seven days after the birth which could not be moved. The joys of being a policeman!

ooooh 3 and gisi both with policeeemen hubbies :) sounds like henry will have more than the normal amount of daddy time compared to the son of a 9-5er, so that's good :)

Ooh, I meant to ask, has anyone returned unopened packs of nappies to Tesco to exchange for a bigger size? Henry has grown out of size 1 and I still have 5 packs left! Obviously i don't have a receipt but am hoping they will do a straight swap.

I havent but am sure that everyone says Asda are the best at swapping nappy sizes over.

My question for the day - Thought I ought to pop the newborn/0-3 months stuff through a rinse and spin cycle to freshen it up a bit... Now normally I would dry on line but it will take ages so do you think it will be ok in tumble dryer seeing as its prob been washed at least a dozen times before... dont want it to shrink....

Grrrrrrrrr - Why won't my baby eat!!!! He is driving me insane now. He wouldn't eat ANY breakfast, he has mushed his sandwich up in his hands and then chucked it all over the floor, so I gave him a banana and he has eaten about 2/3 small bites out of it and just refuses to eat it.
I am really at my wits end with him now! The older two are constantly at each others throats too, I am dreading the holidays with them. I really feel like walking out and never coming back....

DH is ill and a lazy, selfish pig even when not ill....I wish someone would invent a time machine for me:rolleyes:

As Maz says, Asda apparently do, and I took a pack of size 1s back to Boots last week. Going to have to take them back again as I got size 2s and we changed her to size 3s at start of the week!! I am sure Tesco will change them but not sure I would take them all back at once!

i have made a note of this and added a spray bottle to my asda shopping list for later ;) dunno if it will work on mine though, they love water, always sitting in the bathroom sink, and if you turn the tap on they just drink it off their fur and stay sat in the stream, stupid animals!! think i need a super soaker... hmm
