I'm so tired today. Chris was up at 1am being sick so by the time I had dealt with him it was almost 2am then Amber was up at 3am doing thunderbird baby and squealed her happy giggly laugh till I took her in with me at about 3.30am, then DS2 was up coughing again at some point, then DS1 came through at 5am asking to play xbox and threw a tantrum when I told him to get back to bed, which woke Amber up again and then both the boys were back through at 5.30 wanting to get up. I eventually got back to sleep at 7am, knowing I had to get up at 7.30am and in the end I got up at 8 and DH took boys to school and I had a wee half hour nap on the sofa when Amber fell asleep. So I think about 2 hours sleep.

MOTM, I did see your white post :D

Sami, just be consitant with Chris, the first child you have doing the terrible tantrummy years is the hardest, one day they are all sweet the next they are horrors but he's still your lovely little boy deep down. By the time Ed does it you won't really be that bothered.

Better go, think DH expects me to go get Christopher...

oh and MM, hpe Dylan gets home today and gets better.

Buttons, is there no way you could take her down for the concert and just stay with her instead of leaving her there? I did that with Aimee once in nursery when she was ill but still wanted to go...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Happy Birthday Em! Enjoy your day with your little man.

Ahhhh Im the boss now! OH took a spray bottle back from work and I've filled it with water and stuck it on the power setting, now everytime the cat goes near the tree or scratches the table, or jumps up the walls, or steals food, or trys to tip the food bowls, or eats my bananas, I spray him, he's gotten the message now, I just have to pick the bottle up and he legs it lol lol lol
i have made a note of this and added a spray bottle to my asda shopping list for later ;) dunno if it will work on mine though, they love water, always sitting in the bathroom sink, and if you turn the tap on they just drink it off their fur and stay sat in the stream, stupid animals!! think i need a super soaker... hmm

seth just pulled himself up on the side of the sofa and stood there for ages :eek:

Latest MSE News, Student Loans Company slammed for payment delays. I'm not imagining it after all:rolleyes:

And get well wishes to Dylan, I really hope he gets better soon and can come home.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Morning everyone, feeling very stressed today!!! had a bad nite with the kids, jasmines full of a cold and wouldnt settle so brought her into bed with me, never again she is a nightmare, she just slaps me and pulls my hair all night!!! jake just did his usual waking up and crying thing, (why why why is my 3 year old still giving me sleepless nights!!!) im really struggling to get on top of the housework, especially as jasmine screams every time i leave her on her own, had to leave her screaming earlier while i filled the slow cooker, i bet the neighbours think i neglect her!!

her 8 month check went fine, shes reached all the milestones ect,

sami i know exactly how u feel re chris as im going through the same thing with jake, he's gone from a lovely grateful boy to acting like a brat?? i came home from the church fair the other day in tears cos he just walked round with a face on, when anyone spoke to him he was rude and moody, i was so embarrased, so he didnt get to see santa and i took him home. Keep wondering if ive spoilt him and been too soft with him??

oh and i cant believe how close xmas is, i thought i was organised but ive so much still do!
    Happy birthday emlou:beer:
buttons jake has got a cold but ive still been sending him to nursery, i figure they'l ring me if he's not well, and seeing as all the kids seem to have a constant snotty nose there anyway....

  • Ooh, I meant to ask, has anyone returned unopened packs of nappies to Tesco to exchange for a bigger size? Henry has grown out of size 1 and I still have 5 packs left! Obviously i don't have a receipt but am hoping they will do a straight swap.

Weezl- he works shifts so is on rest days at the mo, plus has a couple of extra as he had to go to court (for work) the week after Henry was born!
