Grrr - lost big post replying to tons of people

Highlights - work is ace thanks SS.

    Yay Dylan.

Weezl - ask for help getting on the bus or go backwards (you first, pull fergie up to you). Most of the buses around here are kneeling buses - do you have them in welsh-land?

Forgot loads but posting before my child presses more buttons!!!

    Hello gorgeous xxx

The front door bit is on hydraulics so the driver pulls up, presses a button and the bus kneels down so that it is only a tiny step up from the kerb. Usually on newer, single decker buses. Can you check your local bus company to see if they have anything like it?

But make sure you ask for help too!

Weezl, you will probably find the bus 'kneels' in that hydraulics make it lower the step so you don't need to heave the buggy on anymore than you would just going up a kerb... I'm on and off them all the time, they're a lot easier now than they used to be... :)

ETA, the lovely Mfd beat me to it ;)

    Morning MM :)

We're perfecting our pincer grip with blueberries... She's quite good at picking them up... It's the getting them into her mouth she falls down on... They roll quite far when dropped from the height of a dining chair too!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Krystal - you are breaking the skin of the blueberries aren't you? I always worry with berries with a hard skin that they could form a seal and baby could choke.

ETA - that's why we did pincer grip with cheerios LOL

They're actually quite soft but yes I bite the top and pull a bit of skin off... I think it helps her to know that it's something tasty inside...

(I don't think I'd give her grapes yet though...)

Hmm... I think I need to go to Wolverhampton today... Mfd, do you know how to get to Homebase from the town? (remember the ugly christmas tree bauble my Mum bought Aimee? I managed to get it all the way home without breaking it, then as I took the bag off the buggy it swung back and the bauble inside just disintegrated! We're putting the tree up this weekend so I really need to get a replacement...)

Got to run if I am going to make myself [STRIKE]beautiful [/STRIKE]presentable before booby club.

Edit - I don't even know where the homebase is Krystal??

(My step sister had a friend who's 2yr old choked on a grape :()

    You're always beautiful :)

Edit: It's ok... I'll wander aimlessly until something looks vaguely familiar lol...

  • LOL - my assistant just circulated this email:

    Hello All

Just to confirm and explain we are doing Secret Santa with a twist. The rules are as follows:
    • You all need to buy a gift to the maximum value of £10.00 – this can be as comical as you like!!!!
    • All gifts need to be in the office by Thursday 17 December 2009 at the latest and wrapped.
    • Prior to us finishing up on Thursday we will meet downstairs and everybody will pick a number out of the hat (1-14)
    • The person who picks number 1 will then choose a present and open it
    • The person who has number 2 then has the option of taking number 1’s present or selecting their own.
    • If number 1’s present is selected the person with number 1 selects another present
    • The person with number 3 then gets to choose if they take number 1’s or 2’s present or choose their own
And so on and so on and so on!!!!!!!

    Sounds like mayhem :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    morning everyone.
mm, glad you wee able to get online and inform us anout Dylan! everything crossed that he gets home this afternoon!!

Weezl, glad u got a bit more sleep! :) Always helps! good luck with the bus if u go down that route!! ive never had to do it, but i imagine it would be quite ackward if its not one of those fancy hydraulics using buses! But then again, they werent around when my mum had the 3 of us, so i guess it is do-able!?

i cant remember who i wanted to reply to, i didnt multi-quote in my state of sleepyness/sleepiness - (they both dont look right, did i just make that word up!?? ) :o

My son is currently sitting beside his big sister, whom is getting very irritated when she has to keep giving him his rattle when he drops it! she is trying to watch the Grinch! lol. He, in turn, is absoloutely hating repeatedly droppng it and absoloutely crying his eyes out. Bless!

We had a very dodgy night here last night. After everyone going to bed early, Christopher thought that it was morning time at 4.30am! then woke up repeatedly each half hour as due to his snuffles he couldnt get back over properly and kept losing his dummy! not fun for mummy!

I went shoppng with my sister yesterday, and spent £30 on myself!!!! Im feeling rather guilty now. Got some new jeans and a nice dressy top that i can dress up or down. Still deciding whether I should take them back or not.....the children need new clothes for christmas!!!

Edit: MFD, we have done Secret Santa like that before, it is good fun! but may take a while if there are 14 playing!!!Also REALLY annoying if you pick a present and know what it is and would like to keep and some booger steals it from you!! lol
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Mummy to Katie (27.11.07) and Christopher (05.08.09) ♥♥
