The £1.50 ish bag
The 90 pack of pringles
and the bigger pack of wotsits
God what a bloater!! Ah well it's almost Xmas, I'm just starting my lb gainage early.
Ho ho ho.
Hey, was only 2!! Where did you dissapear too for many moons anyways Mr moon?0 -
Looks like Sami has had her early night. :T
As I said earlier, i'd expand...
My girls, notably 15yo and 16yo have been telling Lucy that she wants them to be my girlfriend and that i've said all these things about her (positive) and she's opened up a bit and said she really likes me and wants us to officially be together as we've had so much fun and she really likes the girls, who in turn like her. 15yo and 16yo told a couple of lies about what I said. They've been told off and put straight, but not badly as they meant well.
One of my twins asked her if she was there new mummy, which made her feel awkward, so we're using the 'Lucy is everyones new friend' line at the moment and 'Daddy's new girlfriend'.
We've told her she can come and stay whenever she wants, although keeping her home is important, incase things go wrong and we may need our space too, especially me.
She is going to be here at Christmas Day, we're going to rearrange a few things, so she can have some things of hers here and she is going to share my room, after all we are adults and we have talked sex and things. She's not a sleep around kind of girl and i'm not a lethario, but I am open on everything with my girls and Lucy will be no different, but it has to be right and respectful to all.
We'll see how it goes, but I told the girls to be gentle and don't expect too much. I didn't have the heart to say no, even though it's moving a bit fast for me. I am very fond of Lucy, she has made me feel things I never thought I would again and she is a positive role model for my girls.
She text me about an hour ago to tell me she missed us all and being at home is now kind of lonely after having 8 of us doing everything we could to make her feel wanted, but she knows she can come here whenever she likes and she'll have those 8 people happy to spend time with her.
I've thought about 'what if it goes wrong'....but I don't want to go there. It's not just me that will be hurt, but 7 others, 8 if you count Lucy. I just didn't have the heart to say 'not so fast' to 8 pleading faces. I'm too soft, but I am excited at the same time, so i'm following my heart.I think I deserve happiness and someone to be with me. It's just been me and the girls for a while now and if they like her and I like her.....why not?
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, i'm probably thinking too much and worrying over nothing. When I think of it going wrong I think of my girls faces first, before my feelings. I guess i've got into that trap.
Right, i'm out of that mode, it's all going well and she's sweet, sexy, hot, adoreable and the girls think she's the best thing since hair straighteners and Claire's (the shop).
Shopping tomorrow, with 16yo. Will put some of those ideas into practice from your suggestions and get 16yo to help. Then at some point, will need all the girls to give me ideas what to buy for Lucy on their behalf :T
Did I say Lucy was coming around after work tomorrow? Oh, she is :T
I hope you all have a great Wednesday, sorry for talking too much, i'm just very excited at my new found lease of love life. I know a few of you have worries at the moment and I hope they all get sorted very soon. Hopefully people get better, grief starts to lessen and situations improve. You've all been very welcoming, kind and helpful.0 -

Oooh, never heard of that one. Doesn't sound pleasantHope Dylan gets well soon.
The only issue my girls have ever had was when the twins mother had pre-exclampsia? No idea how to spell it, but it was caused by high blood pressure and twins were born 3 weeks early, but they have grown up well.Buttonmoons wrote: »The £1.50 ish bag

Oooh, greedy Moon
90 pack....gets worse...flavour? Bet it was Paprika or Texas BBQ
:rotfl:Bigger bag
2 drinks...
A few lb'sOoh, I don't intend adding any on
;)
I hurt my hand when working, so couldn't get online without the girls, so couldn't come here as they would see what I typed with my rubbish left handCouldn't move the mouse with my left hand and my jobs were taking longer, so some things had to give. Still aches now, but at least I have a girlfriend now to take some pressure off eventually
I was thinking of you the other night, thinking i'd not seen you around since my return. Where have you been? All these disappearing Moon's..people will talk :eek:0 -
Must be off to bed. New girlfriend means less time for other things, so something must give, so have to sort out what to drop or frequent less.
Have a nice Wednesday and all my best to those struggling
:wave:0 -
Was actually plain flavour! Boring I know. I normally prefer the paprika or sour cream!
Sounds like your girls have everything worked out for you Motm!
Me and Keira are watching Enchanted, the poor thing can't sleep with coughing, and sneezing. I feel like I should keep her off nursery tomorrow if no improvement but it's her concert tomorrow and she wants to sing in front of everyone. Not sure what to do.0 -
morning all, I slept til 6 which feels more human. I think today won't be too bad
I've got either a long walk or a first trip on a cardiff bus with a buggy today, and can't figure out which is worse! If the bus has a steep step getting on do you kind of tip the whole thing backwards til their front wheels go on the step and then do a big heave/push?
I'm being super daft but I can't quite picture it
motm, about the girls accelerating things and you feeling worried that you're making them sad by slowing it down, I just wanted to say that I would really support you in slowing it down, and feeling that it's better that they have a small short term pang of 'oh, Lucy is more of a pal than a new mummy' rather than attaching all that 'lost mummy' love to her and then discovering that it won't/can't be for some reason.
I don't think I've expressed that very well, sorry
That's just my stuff though. As I said I'm very cautious about love. My DH told me he loved me after 2 weeks (by accident) and I waited 16 months before being able to say 'me too' :rotfl::o
It's just they've lost such a lot, and I don't want them (or you:)) to lose again.
I'll butt out now.
mm not sure if you'll read back, but hugs for tired you and poorly dylan.
Button, I'm glad you're back, you make me laugh
searchie I thought the hampers were amazing. So much she can turn her attention to. And a much more absorbing, creative, developing present than some you can get

Sorry, flitting back again. Really can't keep up with you all.
But wanted to say YEAY to MOTM. I am thrilled for you, though I'm inclined to agree that if you feel you should slow it down then you should. But make sure that everyone knows that you are just slowing down not working your way up to finishing with her. Great that things are looking so bright for you though.
Nothing exciting to report here really. Missed baby massage yesterday cos I forgot about it until 3 hours after it had finished. Gutted as I was really looking forward to it. Though Kezia still has this cold and is getting horrid wind because of it so I'm not sure how thrilled she would have been with getting undressed and rubbed about a bit. She is still pretty happy most of the time though, just having trouble feeding and breathing at the same time. Now on 9.25 hours sleep and she's still up there, though she is grumbling a bit but not quite awake yet.
Got Boobie group this morning then reconnecting with an old friend for coffee at lunch time. Finally get a free day tomorrow then got work Christmas lunch on Friday. I'm only going for the coffee course as I couldn't justify £25 on one meal just as my salary has halved, but I'm quite looking forward to it. Got nothing to wear though, unless I can lose 2.5 stone in the next 48 hours!!!
There is stirrings from the monitor, will try to get back later. Hope you all have a fab day.
