Incidentally... For those with breastfed babies... Don't rush into weaning... Honestly... The nappies are disgusting now _pale_
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    awwwww sami. poor you.

    lots of hugs.

I think netmums new parenting course emails are covering some tips on how to deal with this sort of thing, but I don't know if you feel up for reading about it, or if you are more in a venting place at the moment (with good reason!)

I will happily give linkies when you like though....

    xxx

Sami ((hugs)) I have nothing constructive to offer you apart from "it's just a phase" he's trying his luck and seeing how far he can push you, stay consistent and it will be over quicker once he realises there's no point...

Because you think it will bring good news for us Mummies? Or just because you like that kind of thing?

I have a very peaceful baby asleep on my chest, which is lovely. We're still on waking every three hours at night but definitely more awake in the day.

motm, about the girls accelerating things and you feeling worried that you're making them sad by slowing it down, I just wanted to say that I would really support you in slowing it down, and feeling that it's better that they have a small short term pang of 'oh, Lucy is more of a pal than a new mummy' rather than attaching all that 'lost mummy' love to her and then discovering that it won't/can't be for some reason.

I don't think I've expressed that very well, sorry
i was thinking that :o but i am terrible with words and didnt want to say it in case i made it sound critical, i am very good at offending people when its the last thing i want to do! but yay, sleeping til 6am! and you will be fine on the bus, just go on backwards :) i am very very glad my car is very much my car, and although i let OH use it its very much a trip by trip basis, and therefore i wont need to use a bus unless the car breaks! i dont know how i would collapse the buggy, get the shopping on and the buggy on and hold seth at the same time? you have to collapse the buggys if it isnt a kneely bus cos the doorways are deliberately too small, and theres no way of knowing which bus is coming when!

been awake since 5am with a hair pulling pickle-child... bleurgh!!

    Eh?
    Boo...

ooh you made me jump ;)

it's the pre-budget report. My post-april spreadsheets are itching to know what Darling's gonna offer in terms of CB, CTCs tax allowances, SMP and length of paternity leave.

Gosh I must really trust you lot, if I confessed to this in real life I would genuinely expect my friends not to invite me round anymore:rotfl:
