SM - I hadn't mentioned it on here before. Most of my pictures are with my business partner while she sets up the website (I keep them on removable media otherwise they clog my computer up too much), but I can show you the sugarcraft peter rabbit I made for a friends christening cake. be back in a min.......

here he is - he is about 4 inches tall. And this was a second attempt. I'd not attempted Peter Rabbit before so made a prototype first :D He is all edible, but I'm not sure I could bring myself to eat him!

  • Thanks for the anniversary wishes.

Big hugs to MM's Dylan. Wishing him a very speedy recovery from this nasty virus.

Been reading on my new iPod touch, which is fabby, but haven't quite got round to logging in on it so I can post! Fab for keeping myself entertained while BFing though- they should use that as a selling point!

I think Laura and DS1 are 8, so I'm not planning on them marrying, I just refuse to do to him what my parents did and tease him about it, it's not fair and it just made me unable to ever confide in my parents. My friend was shocked once when she asked if I'd talked to my mum about something (argument with DH or something) uhm... no way, I don't speak to them about anything important. DS1 seems over it now, but he's a very sensitive wee guy, breaks my heart at times, life just seems to constantly kick him and he always managesd to just shrug and smile but inside I think it hits him really hard. I love my baby boy.
    Awww, lovely sensitive DS1 :T.

Didn't sound to me tia like you wanted them wed. I knew you were just concerned he wouldn't get hurt. I think it's brilliant you won't tease him. I feel that too even though fergie is so small. Sometimes when he cries really hard and it's about something a bit funny like his fart won't come out and then it does, I really want to laugh at him, but I try really hard to let my face show him that what matters to him matters to me. I hope I'll be able to carry that on like you've been able to with DS1 :)

i'm not sure. she's slowly getting used to us and coming out of her shell with us. i'd like to think that if she wanted to talk, but felt she couldnt talk to grandma/grandad she would with us. tbh i havent a clue where to start with her. they're not a 'believing' family, where mine is and i dont feel comfortable in saying ' your mum looks down on you everyday and will always look after you..' or similar... but then it may help??
the thing is she's not daft and probably suspects that it was suicide but wont ask. its strange cos in a few years we'll have to explain to Kian where his auntie Julie is...

hi... have you rang (not sure where you booked) to get the 10kg extra allowance for Ed? (its free and is meant to be just for his things). hand luggage is 5kg per seated passenger (not Ed) and is standard size. i always say like a small gymbag/rucksack and you cant go wrong :D did you book with us or is it just the flights?
    ...
I really don't think anyone would be upset if you were to saY TO HER THAT MUMMY IS AN ANGEL (grr caps from wriggly baby) I would think she'd find comfort in that. I know a family friend that has passed is knwn as granddad angel to his gkids. We tell Chris that gt gma g is in heaven with our dogs that passed earlier this yr and he just accepts it. I'm sure he'll ask more about it as he gets older.

Just told/asked MIL about the extra baggage :j
Its booked through co-op travel and its a crystal - thats the same isn't it? (or have I made it up?:o)
I need to dig out the old car seat, its quite small n flatish so I'm hoping it'll fit in a bag as hand luggage so we can use it over there.

well that took an age to type so hugs and hellos to everyone I'll have missed
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
