I'm quite cautious naturally so after seeing someone for 3 weeks I'd probably get quite a few fun things on behalf of me and the girls, rather than something more serious from just me...

sugarspun, Fergus went through the hickie stage. DH ended up with a large unfortunate one on his neck when fergie was very small. Male colleagues were very surprised and admiring of how quickly we appeared to have refound our erm.... mojo :)

I agree - also, be prepared to talk about volume/cost etc. She might feel overwhelmed at the prospect of buying for 8 people!

And a little story. A friend of mine had been seeing a guy for around a month and Christmas rolled by. She gave him some chocolates. He gave her a diamond watch.

Embarrassment ended that relationship in its tracks - talk to her about how Christmas is and suggest that if she wants to bring gifts for the girls she doesn't have to, but a joint gift would be nice, something they could maybe all share.

Weezlie, Molly already got his neck - I have a selection of photos that I've been banned from ever publishing :rotfl:

Meant to say something else ... don't remember so big hugs all round.
