And just cos I like talking to myself... :p

Today's post was an appointment for Rhys to have his eyes checked again on SATURDAY(!) 19th Dec. At least it's OH's working weekend so we're not missing out on a family lie in

Also got a card saying my Thornton's parcel has been delivered next door - why did I hear the card through the door and not the guy knocking first?! Neighbour is diabetic so she won't be troughing all my chocolate at least! :p
  • Afternoon all... do you think social services would object if I superglued Izzy to her chair while she eats her lunch? We like eating standing up at the moment. ;)

Just found out my Granny died of a pulmenary embalism caused by DVT. Which is aparently what my grandad died with when my dad was a teenager too. And the funeral isn't going to be till the week before Christmas now at the earliest. You just watch, we're going to end up there on Christmas Eve aren't we... Anyone is up in Staffs that we could have Christmas dinner with? ;)

Hiya Jillie :hello: All well with you? When does DH start at the new branch? :)

    hi elle!!
he starts on monday! has to work at trafford tomorrow so he can sort things out and he owes 2 days to them. which he doesnt mind doing in january as hopefully it will be busy!! he's feeling so much better now and i can see the real him again!! :D he's even mentioned his sisters death to other friends so he's started, i think to deal with it. :)

Kian is doing so welll at the moment. i used to put him on his activity mat but he always got upset after a few mins so stopped using it and got him used to the bouncy chair. which he loves. so today i've put him on the mat and he loved it!!:j:j he was even hitting the little toys (rather than the involuntary movements prev). he has been seleeping in his cot since sat and we've had no probs with him.

just been reading skints thread about getting lo to sleep. i'm glad to say (fingers crossed) that we've had no probs getting him to sleep. i do put him sometimes up to bed when he's awake and he does fall asleep himself. if he does start to cry i tend to leave him for a few mins and usually by the time i've gone up, he;'s fast asleep. i think i'm quite relaxed about it all and this is helping. as i'm sure if i was stressing he would pick up on it! havent posted on skints thread but i think i will....

    Stoopid Market woman, arrrggghhhh!

On a brighter note I got Daniel weighed this morning and he now weighs a hefty 18lbs 13oz :D oh and he's become a jar snob, he'll only eat homemade food or what mummy is eating! Grandma has made him corned beef hash for dinner today.

I'm just waiting for LO to wake up for his lunch, he's currently had 90min nap it's so unlike him

darn it. got my photos done for my passport (finally getting it in my married name) the other day. go the form for the passport and the photos are too small. have to go and tget them done again. going to go to a kodak shop though, cos its an irish passport. they prefer them b/w and are closer up than the uk passport photos so the photo booths are no use to me!!
