Aargh, my baby has become a nightmare to settle at bedtime. He just screams hysterically. Once he goes down he is a dream, and only woke once last night but bedtimes are getting very fraught!
Loving all the Christmas costumes for little ones. We've got a Christmas sleepsuit and a 'My First Christmas' T-shirt but maybe we need a costume too.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Morning all. :santa2:
Some of those christmas outfits last night were .
I love the dress Sami linked too - I wish I could dress my girls the same.
I should take the opportunity to dress V like a little princess while I still can, before she turns into a stroppy big girl with an opinion on fashion!
Baby V still isn't right after her tummy bug. She was up again this morning at 5 til 7. Lots of screaming and pumpy bottom, but no poops. Dr's took the poop sample on Monday, waiting to ring to see when results are due back.
And she still appears to be infectious.
I visited a freind on Monday evening with her. Friend text me Wednesday morning to say she'd been up all night with D&V.
My sister looked after her on Tuesday and took her to visit Great-Grandma. Great Grandma had D&V all day Wednesday. (Sister, her bf, mum and dad had already had it last weekend - so must be immune).
MIL & FIL looked after her on Wednesday. MIL & FIL were both up all last night with D&V.
I think we should stay in with a big red cross on the front door today.
Hope everyone is ok.
Oh, I keep forgetting to say.
My Nature Babycare item arrived from BB's. Its a bottle of Eco Shampoo.:beer:0 -
3 we got the shampoo too - don't normally use shampoo unless she has got something really sticky in her hair, usually it is just water. We had a big glob of gloopy breakfast in her hair yesterday though, so tried it out. Didn't make her cry, and didn't smell of much (which is a good thing, seeing as she has inherrited my excema.) No idea if we will use it again before I have to do the survey though!

Hmm - we haven't really got enough hair to need to use shampoo! But I will try it out on her fluff today. :rotfl:
Krystal and Sami would have been the perfect testers for this one!

hello - I'm back. It was nice to have a break from LO, but spent the two days holding my mum and uncle together while trying to glean information out of Drs hospitals and social services re: my granny. Not an easy task, but I put on my best polite solicitors voice and kept going until we got some answers.
Anyway - she's looking much better in terms of 'illness' but she looks like a woman who has given up
At 92, I think I may feel like that too though.
LO was very well behaved while I was away. MIL did all my washing and ironing - but now I can't find anything as the house has been muddled up - grr and LO seems to have eaten nothing but bananas for two days and not done much sleeping! Her dad seems to have forgotten that he was supervising!!!!
3 - I love those photos of V. So cute! Horrid to hear she's still not right though.
What gossip have I missed?
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

Christopher doesn't love me! waaaaaah

He says I can't be his friend because Connor is already his friend and he can't love me because I'm not his friend,
Edgar still sounds awful but is in the sleep to get better phase *little quiet yey* unfortunately Chris is in the annoying keep waking mummy phase :rolleyes:0 -
Morning

3 - Sorry to hear V still isn't right, it can take a long time to get over a bug like that, especially how bad your lot seemed to have it!!
Oh god my mind has gone blank now, who is it that has the interview today - mm? Good luck for the interview:) I also mainly think of the directors and city investors as the fat cat bankers, I do know a few people who work branch level and yes they can sometimes get a nice bonus, but nothing like the tens/hundreds of thousands that the top guys award themselves:rolleyes:
I was cursing you lot on here last night:o I never really mention about sleeping because Kai pretty much sleeps every night from 7.30/8pm until 7/7.30am without waking so I don't want to make people jealous who are having a bad time with non-sleeping babies......anyway last night he was so blocked up, the poor little mite kept waking until about midnight, by which time I had opened his window, and smeared him in vicks which seemed to do the trick, but from about 3am he started waking again, although he didn't seem blocked. I eventually realised at 4.30am that he was absolutely drenched, his nappy had somehow worked it's way down really low and he had managed to soak his vest and his pyjama top and bottoms all down one side, his sleeping bag was also drenched
I took him downstairs and fully stripped him off and changed him, popped him back to bed and he went straight off and slept until 7am............ I felt really bad, I wonder how long he had been lying all wet and cold for.
Before I realised what the problem was I thought you lot had sent out non-sleeping spells:p:o:D

My ds1 wanted to marry me when he was 4 - now he won't let me kiss him on the cheek without coertion :0)
Morning
Had loads of sleep last night after feeling pitiful yesterday. Led to me telling Oh that either we start to ignore Archies middle of the night cries or he can deal with them as I have had enough of him making me go to him for the sake of an easy life (his as he has work the next day and sleeps like a lion - with one eye open). So this morning he tolerated Archie's playing etc without waking me <<yeah>> until nearly 7am - now that I can manage.
