I started a spending diary today euronorris, great minds think a like. Feel a bit stupid now, i should of realised:rolleyes:
Anyhoo £3.55 added to my pad tin.
OH gets paid tomoro and he'll be getting some o/t yay, so i'll be using half of his o/t money to go into our pad acc.

    Afternoon folks! :D

I've mostly been playing Modern Warefare 2 this morning....best game EVAAAHHHHHH!!!

Now i'm at work and seriously considering faking some kind of terminal illness so I can go home and play it for the next month before making a miraculous recovery! ;)
My son bought has been playing it almost non stop since he got it. He normally works nights and has had a few nights off, I find him playing it at 7 when I get up. He's gutted he's in work tonight and can't play:rotfl:

On another matter altogether --won £20.42 on the bingo. What do I do with the 42p? Can I withdraw that?

Fabulous Nickynoo! Don't worry about being forgetful, I have the same problem and I don't even have any hormones to blame for it! lol

gilliganstyle I think you can withdraw any amount, so long as it is over the minimum requirement.

Hope you're all having a good day! :)

Okies, I'm going to start this too!!

I'm looking at a PAD of between £1 and £5 per day to pay off one of my Lloyds Credit Cards .. I'm not brave enough yet to post my SOA but I'm working through my debts. I've stopped using 2 of my credit cards which is a massive challenge for me and am trying to use only cash for payments. I try and keep a spending diary, I find it so easy to go off the rails if I don't.

Not sure how I will do it yet, putting money in a money box sounds like a good way but don't have a spare one ... I'll start with a mug covered over with cling film with a hole in it! ;)

Probably won't update daily but will count every so often and pay in - well done to everyone, very inspiring!

Empty jam jars, or sauce jars etc are also good for collecting the coins.

I use a jam jar to collect my shrapnel. :)

  • Hi sarsief, I use an old coffee jar for shrapnel and have been known to use an empty baked bean tin before now!

Noticed in your sig about couch to 5k. Couch to 5K Running 2009
I tried to do this, had a podcast that kept me going. But was actually far too unfit and had to start with walking!!
