i'd like to join this please!
have rather a large debt... but will take one at a time... really pushing myself in 2010... hope its lucky for us!

Welcome to the thread!
Well i've messed up my budget already but am not going to beat myself up over it. My new financial year will start on payday in January. Thankfully i will be paid early again. I'm buoyed up by the fact that i have various bits of money due in the coming weeks and that some little debts are now within reach of being cleared. i will do this in Jan.
i am determined to regain focus and be far more aggressive in my approach to debt. Being on maternity leave i'll be on a lower pay for a while, so the more debt i clear the easier it will be.One step at a time0 -
thanks, hopeful! agressively dealing with debt sounds good to me!Highest Debt £581,000 Nov 08 and now owe nothing! yes really! I have learnt my lesson the hard way!

Evening everyone!
Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and got lots of nice presents.
I was spoilt rotton by OH, lots of new clothes, some shoes, new handbag, lots of nice toiletries, chocolates etc..
The best surprise was though that OH has been putting some money away without me knowing - enough to pay off the rest of the debt!! :j
So PAD is £931 to HSBC CC.
I hope your not going to chuck me off the thread now? We need to save money for moving out of OHs parents. We will be renting again, but i estimate that with all the new furniture etc we will need, we need to save about £4000.
You buy furniture???
You should be booted off the forum. How dare you?
I thought that furniture came from freecycle LOL.
I don't think I will ever buy furniture again after seeing what people put on there. I've given bits too though.0 -
