Teacher asks the class to name things that end with 'tor'
that eat things.
The first little boy says, "Alligator."
"Very good, that's a big word."
The second boy says, "Predator."
"Yes, that's another big word. Well done."
The third boy says, "Vibrator, Miss."
After nearly falling off her chair, she says, "That is
a big word, but it doesn't eat anything."
"Well my sister has one and she says it eats batteries

flower you must have been very pleased with your OH for that. Far better than spending the money on 'stuff' and having a DFD of Christmas Day!
You can now PaD to your savings instead!
Have done absolutely **** all today, have asked DS what he wants to eat and he wants turkey and chips .....AGAIN! Just as well we're out for a meal tomorrow, but no idea how I can keep the cost down on that. Its nephew's 18th so have to go and suspect that the bill will just get split. Any ideas how to deal???
Mumofthreemonkies will see what happens with thepalaces, thanks for the update.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Evening everyone!
Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and got lots of nice presents.
I was spoilt rotton by OH, lots of new clothes, some shoes, new handbag, lots of nice toiletries, chocolates etc..
The best surprise was though that OH has been putting some money away without me knowing - enough to pay off the rest of the debt!! :j
So PAD is £931 to HSBC CC.
I hope your not going to chuck me off the thread now? We need to save money for moving out of OHs parents. We will be renting again, but i estimate that with all the new furniture etc we will need, we need to save about £4000.
:j  :j Yay whoop whoop how fantastic - i'm so pleased (and jealous) What a great way to start the new year xxx

Got £50 for Christmas from my Dad, as did OH. OH is out spending his tonight in the pub, I can't decide whether to spend it or PAD it:rotfl:
