  • Paulgonnabedebtfree - I saw a window cleaner trying to do the shop windows yesterday, it didn't look fun. The girl in the shop said that Head Office insisted they were done.

    .

It can be difficult if the water starts freezing on the glass. I tend to add a liberal helping of screenwash to the water - as strong as 50/50 mix if necessary. Doing the window in smaller sections is also helpful - i.e. blade the liquid off before it can freeze. I did shop fronts at minus 6 last winter by working that way. Obviously it's slower but at least you can earn something. Had a better day today. It reached the dizzy heights of plus 5 at one point. I was thinking about working in my shorts.
  • :xmastree:Popping in to say-

the shops are now shut, if I haven't got it, its not the end of the world; the house is tidied to within an inch of its life, so bring on the man in the red suit!

    Merry Christmas everyone!
