Actually, just checked and, even with cabin accomodation (overnight ferry), it will be 1 GBP cheaper than the BA flight I currently have. 48GBP for ferry and 49GBP for the flight! lol
I think it must only be expensive with a car.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Morning all - Paul, Gilli, Norris, Miss Lauren and anyone else I missed out - sorry - how are we all feeling this morning?:p
Feeling happier today - god bless Mr Morrison...
Went into do a shop for bread and paracetamol and came out with four bags of food that each item had been reduced down to 9p. Pies, pasties, cheese sauce, chicken, pizza....and heaven forbid, Octopus, complete with tentacles and suckers. Gonna braise it slowly in garlic, tomatoes, onions and a bit of vermouth. OH opted out when he saw the suckery bits, he wants the lamb stew in the slow cooker.
As valleys boys tend to love anything in gravy, like sausages and faggots, even though I `Old Style' all our food, Octopus in onion gravy's pushing it a bit (huge lol)
Anyhow, 2p pad for me today
Be back later probably

Hello peeps!
Small PAD of £4 into my PAD flagon for me today.
My fiscal shenanigans are a little complicated at the moment. Usually it would be easy to see where my PADs were going as I’d do most of it online and straight onto my c/c. However, now that’s paid off and I'm waiting for my paycheck this month before paying off my loan, all my PADs of loose change are going into my flagon. However that money should really be going towards my other debt, which is my overdraft. (I only have the one bank account where all my money goes, therefore I only see the actual amount of my overdraft each month just before payday. I know I could get another account and treat my overdraft as a separate debt, but I’ve been with my bank for a long time and don’t want to change, and it’s not a massive amount anyway.) So I'm in the situation where I'm PADing my small change into my flagon, and from there into change bags...which I then change up and use for cash to keep me from using more of my overdraft...in effect paying off some of that debt.
*deep breath*
Or at least I think that’s what I'm doing...ha.
So anyway, today I am taking bags to the bank to change up and use as cash for my office party tomorrow: £20 in pounds, £10 in 50ps and £10 in 20ps. I love the way that loose change adds up when you’re not looking!
Ooooh, and I've passed the £4,000 PAD mark since September! :j
Hope you are all well and keeping warm. We’ve had snow here and I did an involuntary but rather nifty j-turn out of my driveway this morning due to ice. Luckily nothing was driving past, although the pedestrian I just missed looked a tad startled...

Just managed to get on after a day and a half without internet access:eek: I get twitchy enough not being able to log onto my banking, but to miss Blingo and PADing too is FAR too much stress to take :rotfl:
Anyway, down to business.... yesterday's PAD was £25 min payment to a cc and todays is £1.17 to another cc, so £26.17
(((hugs))) to everyone who needs it, and hello to everyone else
Gotta let OH have the pc now, even he's missed getting on!!
