Wow! Really? I've never had that. I think you must be tensing up, even if it's only subconciously.

I had to have lots of bloodtests as a kid. Everytime I had one and didn't cry, I got a packet of smarties It got to the point where I no longer needed the blood tests but would ask for them because I wanted some more smarties! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Needless to say, I don't fear needles. Alas, I don't even get a lollipop these days.....or a sticker! No fair! lol

Oh and Gilly, yes, it is only my flight back to Amsterdam that is with BA. My backup if all else failed was a Eurostar to Brussels and then a train from there.

Eurostar announced possible strike action on 26th and 27th Dec. I'm due to fly back to AMS on 26th Dec.........*sigh*

My backup will now be a very long ferry journey! lol

But on the plus side, at least you will be able to get to the UK to see your folks, would be worse if the other way round and you had the long journey to get to them.

I am guessing long and expensive ferry journey??

Very true. My Mum had spent most of Monday worrying that I wouldn't bother coming because of the strike bless her!

Yeah, the ferry journey is about 12-13 hours I think and is pretty expensive. Luckily, my folks have agreed to help me with the cost of anything extra in that respect.

I'm so clumsy, I just whacked my elbow on the desk! Ouch! I walked into the corner of the desk last week too! haha, nice big bruise on my thigh hahaha
