Welcome to any newbies. Can I just do a reminder to everyone that it makes it easier to add up if the numbers are in bold, large or colour, preferably all three!!

I hate injections too Sassers, anything with needles. I think I must tense up as it goes on because I have so many needles break in my arm, it happened with the TB jab when I was a school and has happened about 4/5 times with blood tests! Your story is hilarious - they do lie don't they, injections DO hurt - why say they don't??!!
xx
Wow! Really? I've never had that. I think you must be tensing up, even if it's only subconciously.
I had to have lots of bloodtests as a kid. Everytime I had one and didn't cry, I got a packet of smarties
It got to the point where I no longer needed the blood tests but would ask for them because I wanted some more smarties! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Needless to say, I don't fear needles. Alas, I don't even get a lollipop these days.....or a sticker! No fair! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Oh and Gilly, yes, it is only my flight back to Amsterdam that is with BA. My backup if all else failed was a Eurostar to Brussels and then a train from there.
Eurostar announced possible strike action on 26th and 27th Dec. I'm due to fly back to AMS on 26th Dec.........*sigh*
My backup will now be a very long ferry journey! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
17p today cheers0

But on the plus side, at least you will be able to get to the UK to see your folks, would be worse if the other way round and you had the long journey to get to them.euronorris wrote: »Oh and Gilly, yes, it is only my flight back to Amsterdam that is with BA. Very true. My Mum had spent most of Monday worrying that I wouldn't bother coming because of the strike bless her!
Yeah, the ferry journey is about 12-13 hours I think and is pretty expensive. Luckily, my folks have agreed to help me with the cost of anything extra in that respect.
I'm so clumsy, I just whacked my elbow on the desk! Ouch! I walked into the corner of the desk last week too! haha, nice big bruise on my thigh hahahaFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0
