You'll be fine Nickynoo. The jab last night didn't really hurt. I mean, it was a bit sore afterwards but not as much as normal :)

Oh, oh, checked weather forecast. Heavy snow predicted here for tomorrow! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY:D

Back from my jab, and it was fine, didnt feel a thing after all my whinging. Hope your mum's ok. My gran has refused her jab too, she's also got asthma and angina, told her she should of had it done:rolleyes:

Just been out to get a new rug, ds threw up all over ours a few weeks ago and it was that bad it had to be binned, been looking for another one since but they're just so expensive (needs to be v large too!). Finally found one in dunelm for £60! We saw on v similar for twice the price in another shop, so we decided to get it. It does mean that my pads will be tiny for the rest of the month tho, but on a positive note we didnt have to use cc as we had money saved up:D
Just emptied my purse and OH's wallet and found another £1.25 to go in my pad tin.

Can we start up a `I hate injections' support group?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I loathe them and have been known to faint just before the needle goes in...it doesn't hurt, it's all the prep and palaver beforehand that sets me off......
Have to confess after hiding in a cupboard at school and avoiding the dreaded BCG I was `found' and promptly marched to the school nurse. When she said `it won't hurt' it did, and I was so upset, I punched her. Hard. Poor cow.....

Anyhoo so excited had to share this - just had a phone call asking me to come into an interview this Monday. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Totally unexpected and not the high-paying other one either. The prelim for that is tomorrow. so excited!
And while I'm in such an excited mood, 2p pad while I'm at it!

  • Writing from what is probably the most sheltered part of the UK, I am strangely envious of those who have temperatures below freezing or snow. Brings out the kid in me, its been 5C all day here, even now that its dark its still 3C.

Been trying to catch up a bit so:-

Have I missed a post? Is it still 'baby hopeful'? Get the sleep while you can hopeful, you never know when you'll need it!

Good luck with the interview sassers. It will give your new year a bit of a boost especially if its something you'll really enjoy.

Euro hope you get the flights sorted. Is it just your flight back thats with BA?

Our tree is being delivered tomorrow, so will feel like its Christmas. Have got the mince pies ready and all the windows washed. Now I can do my present wrapping, while watching my favourite Christmas DVD 'It's a Wonderful Life'

    Hello Padders!

Another £6 for me again today please.

All the kids at school have been praying for a snow day tomorrow but by the looks of it the snow'd not forecast till the afternoon so I don't think they'll get their wishes! Feels like it's been years since we actually had snow before Christmas, usually its January time isn't it.

I hate injections too Sassers, anything with needles. I think I must tense up as it goes on because I have so many needles break in my arm, it happened with the TB jab when I was a school and has happened about 4/5 times with blood tests! Your story is hilarious - they do lie don't they, injections DO hurt - why say they don't??!!

    xx
