You lot are on form today! Angelic :A and Green, I think you could make a few dollars as a comedy double act! :D:rotfl:

    lol thank you :p
    [/CENTER]
Obviously I'd take 70% of those dollars...I need them more than Green!

What?!?!?!? I'm older than you, have more debt, so I think it'll be fairer if I get the 70% :D

    Hi All!

Wow, It's super busy at work at the moment. Taking a little breather as too many late nights and hard work = brain not working properly! lol

Had a nice surprise when I got home last night. There was a package waiting for me (oohhhhh :) ) from work. I wasn't expecting anything so I was very happy when I opened it to find it was a Christmas present from work (never had that before! lol).

Basically, it's a voucher for an experience. I had a look at the site last night and there are loads of things you can do - donation to a charity, indoor sky diving for one, hotel stay for 2, workshops, food, wine/champagne etc etc. I think the OH and I have settled on a sea fishing trip for 2 in the North Sea where you can fish for either Cod or Mackerel and you can then take the fish home to cook and eat too! :)

Never been sea fishing before and I'd really love to do it. I did look at the indoor skydiving too, but you only get to be in the wind tunnel thingy for a total of 3 minutes. It doesn't really feel like I would be getting the most out of the voucher then.

I figured it's worth €75 as there were a few options where you could buy stuff up to a value of €75.

But, how nice is that?? I wasn't expecting anything at all, let alone this. Dead chuffed! Shame I can't exchange it for real money so I could PAD it though! haha

    Hi All

Another flying visit (busy busy busy!). PADs are still small because I am still waiting for a cheque to clear. Plus I really want to have my boiler serviced sometime very soon (it has given us a couple of scary moments in recent months - one just last week), so I need to make sure I have enough money to pay for it!

So, today's PAD is £1.10 to Evil Egg

  • G'day all :o

I thought I'd lost my purse at the office this morning, and had my OH running around the house like 'Challenge Anneker' on the other end of the phone to find it  He did though, but it meant that I had to borrow £50 from petty cash to pay for my hair appointment today.

One thing...my haircut cost me £24, yet when i handed over the £30 I ended up squeaking 'Keep the change! Happy Christmas!' Now why is it that I always tip hairdressers an inordinate amount? Is it because I feel obliged after all the small talk? I mean, it is a nice cut, but not worth a 25% tip! Or is that about right? I have no idea of the protocol for hairdresser tips, obviously

    *sigh* Ah well. £30 for a cut isn't that bad...right? ;)

Anyhoo, i'll PAD my £2.02 change from my lunch to make amends. Sort of.

    Have a good day peeps.
