    Morning all - funny, I'm feeling christmassy too! Probably won't last though. lol Been busy this morning totting up stuff to PAD. paid more off the gas arrears, a couple of debts and the thing that gave OH a fright last night.
    A court bailiff turned up at the house wanting £160-odd for a parking fine that was outstanding and said if I didn't pay it I'd be arrested! :eek:
    He was the warrant officer!
    EEEEK and then some! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
    Thank god I wasn't there and on my way home from work! I'd totally forgotten about paying the fine.......:rolleyes:
    So this morning I will go to the post office and pay it first then ring him.
    PAD today please of £338.68
    Thank you all (before I get clapped in jail)
    Love Sassers x

  • how old is millie now, green? btw, leah has a small umbilical hernia too, so my grand plans to spay her on the cheap at cheshire dogs home are probably by the by :rolleyes: ... ah well ...

    happy december, everyone! :xmassmile

    Hi tomtom

    Millie's just turned 5 months.
    Nightmare about the hernia! My vet has said she'll do it at the same time as she gets spayed, would the dogs home not do that for you too? You could always give a little extra donation or something? worth asking anyway, as I don't think its too much more work to do at the same time. Fingers crossed for you.

    DS4 has a friend with a 4 month old boxer puppy and at the weekend the family went out for an hour, leaving pup on her own, unfortunately someone left a bedroom window open and when they returned home, they found the puppy laid on the ground outside, they think she'd been looking out of window and spotted a cat or something and she'd jumped out. She has a shattered back leg, broken front leg and she's also damaged her spine at the bottom. Poor little thing, apparently they think that she'll never be able to run and will only be allowed short walks on a lead. Well if anyone knows boxers that isn't a very nice life she's going to have, they're very bouncy and have loads of energy.
    Bet the vets are rubbing there hands together at the thought of all that money!!! I know when Amber broke her leg at 11 weeks it cost us (well the insurance) over £500 and that was 7 years ago!
