    I think you've made a good choice! Make sure you up the spec to the 2.8ghz processor, 8gb RAM, 500gb hard drive and include the graphics card. That should see you with a very nice machine.

    When you get it, drop me a PM with your verdict, I know my Vaio's only a year old, but I'm toying with getting the same one and specing it up even further!

    I don't know whether any PCs are still being sold with Vista loaded, but do ensure that it has Windows 7 as the operating system.

    Very good point, whatever you do, don't buy a PC with Vista, Windows 7 in vastly superior.

    all the new vaios ship with 64bit windows 7 assuming they have 4gb ram +
