  • Afternoon all

Didn't have chance to post yesterday, work then watched rugby match. I've had a busy day already today. Dyed hair this morning a nice cherry red colour. WM done one load. Went to visit my nan and helped her sort out bits n bobs. Met girls for lunch and spot of shopping. And I'm now getting ready for tonight :D

My friend is having a Halloween party at her place. I'm going as a devil. Wearing black skirt and top, and have red tights, red shoes, red bag, horns and a tail :D Rather excited.

But had a bit of a moment just now when the wonders of facebook informed me that my ex is getting married to someone else next month. Now we split 5 years ago (were together for 5 years, but we were young, I was 22 when we split) so I'm totally over him. And he wasn't a particulary nice guy IYKWIM. But as I'm currently single it was a bit of a shock to the system to find out (via a friend of a friend's comment!). I would never want to be with him, and have done so many amazing things since we split! So I guess I'll have to pull a cute zombie or vampire tonight ;)

Diva - the pumpkins look great

Not had many trick or treaters yet - wish they would hurry up as I have already had 2 mini bars of choc so need to give them away as soon as possible:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Had a great day out at the races today. We had 3 winners and 2 second place so OH broke even and I came back £12 up so a good day altogether! Weather was beautiful and sun was even warm at times, had a lovely HM picnic. All washing I hung out this morning was nearly dried when we got home so just airing off now. Had curry(HM from freezer) and chips for a quick tea when we got home and now settled watching Strictly

    Have a good evening all

    Trick or Treeeeeeat

Well we've had only 1 this year , rubbish....

Thursday went really well, he had a really good send off, we were really overwhelmed by the amount of people that came but so many had to stand outside as there was not room inside the crematorium . His friends with their bikes/harleys escorted the hurse and stopped traffic as and when needed which was really choking to be part of.

Anyway got back Friday and picked kids up, blitzed the house today and went shopping. Roast chicken in SC tomorrow as i am a virgin at that :o.

Have not read back...so hope everyones fit and well xx

We must have had all your trick or treaters - we had loads. I started off giving each child 3 bits of candy, then had to go down to 2 and ended up rationing them to 1! I *just* lasted to the end of the evening without running out.

DH took DD and 2 friends out. He actually came back at one point saying they'd sent him away, but I sent him back out to find them as I'd promised one parent that they'd be accompanied. They are 12 and were pretty cheesed off to have a dad with them, but when all's said and done we're responsible for them while they are with us, and Hallowe'en must be like a lottery ticket for anyone looking for unaccompanied kids to try their luck with.

Going to watch the end of X factor now and then probably watch an episode of Lost as I'm catching up with series 5 on DVD.
