The calls on evenings and weekends are to landlines.
Although I pay the plan fee of 3.99 the calls are still charged.
Will they refund me?
You are on a calls plan whose details are unknown to you.
You are being charged £3.99 and do not know what it is for.
You are being charged for weekend and evening calls which you are under the impression should be free.
As others have, said it is a about time you spoke to those nice people on the TalkTalk members forum.0 -

thank you
I cant say they will refund you as i dont work for Talk Talk so am only going on experience.
I assume the plan your on must include some calls as you are paying a fee.
You should call Talk Talk and ask what plan your on and what it includes.
If the bill charges are wrong then they should refund you.0 -
(Although not as confused as Bundance. Line rental from BT, calls package from Talk Talk, internet from Virgin. Someone's not quite understanding how this competitive market thingy works out in practice.)
What do you mean please?
I only pay £32 for intenet/phone and rental all in one.
I'm afraid I made a silly mistake.
When I looked at my bill again, the next day, when I was less tired, I found that I go get free evening and wknd calls, and only pay for 0845 or 0870 numbers.
Silly me.
Thanks though, informative thread.0 -
You are still on an old and probably uncompetitive tariff though. if you are on a TT LLU exchange you can get all 3 services bundled for £17.74.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Hi Bundance,
Glad you worked out the billing. If you do need more information on current tariffs please let me know. Both TalkTalk and BT offer tariffs where 0870/0845 calls would be inclusive for you but you would need line rental and calls with the same provider to benefit from them.
Cheers
