Your best bet for a quick answer about a refund would be to post on the www.talktalkmembers.com forum where their online support staff hang out.

The tariff you are on is no longer available and i dont know what you were supposed to get for it,but to give you an idea if you pay them £3.39p a month now you get inclusive evening and weekend 01/02/03 calls.

If your happy to take out a 12 month rolling call contract BT will give you Inclusive Evening And Weekend Calls to 01/02/03 plus 0845/0870 numbers at no cost.

The calls on evenings and weekends are to landlines.
Although I pay the plan fee of 3.99 the calls are still charged.

    Will they refund me?

    thank you

You need to call TT ASAP and get yourself onto a current tariff-and find out why you are being charged for supposedly inclusive calls.
Or switch to a better provider.

(Although not as confused as Bundance. Line rental from BT, calls package from Talk Talk, internet from Virgin. Someone's not quite understanding how this competitive market thingy works out in practice.)

Yes, but as BT line rental is involved, it'd be a good starting point to ascertain whether the BT A/C says 'CPS calls provider' etc.

As BT's Unlimuted Evening & Weekend Plan, even if paid for, is cheaper than the £3.99/month mentioned, the OP needs to be armed with as much information as possible before Talk Talk Company Representative comes along and says, "Post your question on our private forum and I'll try to help you."

bundance, you are aware that 1280 prefix is ineffective now, aren't you?

If your calls exceed an hour they then become chargeable from that point... do any of your calls go over an hour?

What, at a cost of exactly £3.99 a month for the past 5 years?

No, the £3.99 is a plan price you pay every month regardless to get evening and weekend calls. I was merely suggesting that the reason you have also been billed for evening and weekend calls on top of this was for calls that may have went over 1 hour.

Heh heh. Some ammunition for Jemma-T and her favourite campaign! There are, after all, some customers naive and careless enough to think "free caller display" means "free caller display"! :)
