i notice the front cover giftsets are now back on 3 for 2, cheeky ol boots.

They need to get their act together with the offer of the week. I totally agree with the fact that they advertised better than half price and are now just making it up as they go along:mad:

I think I'll be giving this offer a miss. I bought an Elle set last year and the products were horrid! I hope there'll be an offer for FCUK or S&G.

I think this had been originally planned to be half price as in my local boots the 0 after the 2 for the price had been covered and a had written 6 put on it, I gave it a miss.
Will be doing my shopping elsewhere as they are going back on what they promised in their christmas mailing.

When I was in boots last night using the advantage points machine when I selected to have my card returned an advert came up which was a copy of an OOTW poster which said £40 to £20 - which makes me think originally this should have been half price.

i'm very disappointed with boots this year and particularly over the ootw. a lot of the newer toys, the ones i was looking to buy were 'stock coming soon' on the offer nights and this carry on with the ootw is not right. I've still got the mailing with that statement on it too.
boots have always been a complicated store to shop at where if you buy no7 at full price you know you're paying well over the odds, but i think mucking about with ootw is going to backfire on them. the items they include in this are all very overpriced at full price anyway
rant over - i haven't bought any presents in boots so far this year, doubt i will to be honest

I emaile Boots about their guaranteed half price or better OOTW and got this reply,

My local Boots - East Kilbride Town Centre have these all on shelves very clearly marked 3 for 2 so 3 for £52. HTH

Hey Amanda, another EK lass here The issue isn't on the 3 for 2 but the fact that they are not half price like the other OOTW so effectively getting 3 for the price of 1. Whilst I'm on have you found the clearance section in the Town Centre branch? It seems to have disappeared! The Kingsgate one still has it though :P
