Hey hartcjhart, i stand corrected, there was a couple of posts asking for information. You have pointed out that Solfer has recieeved the information from the company so therefore previous advice wont apply as they have provided what they need to, to validate the charge. it will be the find plus some form of admin fee as advised in your rental agreement.

Appologise again did not see that Solfer had got the docs from the company.
Doesnt matter if in spanish or whatever language really mate, It is what it is and thats their proof of the traffic violation.

Seems this all got a bit confused... I haven't had anything at all from the rental company.
I had a fine from the Spanish Transport department about 5 weeks ago, but the rental company haven't sent me anything as proof of payment of the fine (which was my gripe - not the fact that I had a fine to pay).

As far as I know, I could still have my collar felt if I go back to Spain..

i did a search on google for econorent the other day and found this post also a good post on econorent here http://www.eyeonspain.com/forums/posts-long-9542.aspx please read it through to the end to get an idea about car hire rip offs in spain before you book.i have booked with econorent for 6 days without a credit card which is great because i dont have one their reputation is really good going off the posts people have made in the link.such a rare thing these days.
