Morning
I stupidly hit a kerb yesterday trying to avoid a massive pot hole. The rear of my car bounced off the kerb so i thought oh crap ive kerbed my wheel AGAIN so i got out and had a look and no kerb mark. Later on when my OH pulled on the drive and his lights were shining onto my car i saw i have a massive bulge in the tyre now!:( So now need a new tyre which will set back back around £150!!
Luckly i have a spare wheel (the wheel i kerbed last time) in the shed, i will put that on for now as i dont want a blow out with the bulged one on the car. I may of even buckled the alloy which will really make me angry as i cant afford a new wheel.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

There is always something! Grrr to cars costing so much.0

Oh no, that's so annoying about the car. I'm always swerving to avoid those blooming potholes at the moment.0

Cars are a nightmare, just eat away your money, i'd miss not having a car but sometimes i really think about no having a car, the amount we spend on them a year, I'm to scared to add it all up. The amount of potholes we have around here with silly white paint round, the white paint is useless, just fill in the thing, the amount we pay in council tax.
The good news about your manager doing the risk assessment, that's a weight off your mind.

Well my OH changed them round for me, although the spare tyre isnt in the best shape either the tyre wall his loads of tiny cracks but better than the bulge one!
Yeah all that snow and bad weather really hasnt done the roads any favours. I know where all the pot holes are on the roads on the way to work so go round them all as my car is quite low and i dont want to crack that new splitter the insurance gave me!;)
Im very happy with my boss atm but lets see if all waht he said actually happens when i go into work tomorrow. Now i feel i will be against the other chambermaids not him as they will have to pick up my slack and one of the girls writes out the boards of what rooms we have in the mornings. Hopefully she will be kind to me, or i will ask her if i can do the boards as it was my job but i got fed up with people moaning what rooms they had so i gave up doing it.
Im 5 weeks today so one more week and i will call the doctor to get my booking in appointment and get the ball rolling!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hope that work was OK for you and the others didn't mind that you can't do certain things.
That is exciting about the doctors appointment, what happens at the first one?0 -
Monday went ok my boss brought me papers the sign about the risk assement and it will be reviewed every month.:D
It was only me and one other chambermaid in yesterday (my friend one who can be very selfish and lazy) she walked straight past my big bags of dirty laundry after she had done her rooms outside and went upstairs. She know's im suppose to bag them up and leave them for another chambermaid to take and it was only her in so i knew she was planning on just leaving it there.
When my boss came out for me to sign the paperwork i said have you told the others they need to take my laundry for me as emily has just gone upstairs and left my dirty's outside still. So he said i will tell her again right now. I felt bad but i would bend over backwards if it was her that was pregnant...i do anyway for her! After he spoke to her she went and got them for me, still had a good moan why couldnt he of moved them for me though!:rotfl:
Today she gave me 4 lesser rooms than the rest so i was happy until we then found out it wa just us two again today as the other woman was on holiday:mad: So was busy and im feeling it now! Im so tired, yesterday i was in bed and asleep by 6.30pm!:rotfl:
I really should pull my finger out and get some bits listed on Ebay etc, make some extra money.....that is after i have a nap:D
Wendz- the first doctors appointment isnt much. They just give you tones of leaflets and your pregnancy book thats it takes 5 mins they dont even test you to see if you are pregnant. Then you wait for your midwife to get in contact. Then she goes through the book just filling in medical history...takes all of 15 mins.
Last time it was a home appointment but im going to ask if it can be at the surgery as i havent told my dad yet.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
