Well we went to the retail parks and spent nothing! I was tempted by a bag in matalan for £1.50 but i didnt need it i already have a tone. It was just the fact it was £1.50! So i put it back again;)
Although i did spend £5.49 of my argos vouchers on a set of earrings.
Today hasnt been as happy as id hoped
When OH got round he was in a stinking mood, he'd had an arguement with his parents. Over something very very silly, which then lead into a bigger arguement about how his been over christmas. OH says his not going back there and is going upto his nan's in the midlands for the weekend to get away! I feel so sorry for him, they said his had a bad attuide over xmas keeping himself to himself. They could give him a break after losing our pregnancy right before christmas of course he will be sad over christmas and not really in the mood for fun and games.
His just left mine now, im hoping his going home and his parents wont start on him the minute he walks in. But i also hope he doesnt just ignore them...he can be very very stubborn at the best of times.
If not looks like we will be moving out very soon without building back the savings first!
Im just looking through centreparcs for valentines, its soo pricey! I suppose they bumped up the price that weekend as its valentines!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
His just called, they locked him out and left the key in the door. he kept banging on the window etc but nobody got up to let him in. So he sat in his car outside the house and 5 mins later they walked out and out in there car and ignored him and drove off. I have told him to go in there while he has the chance get some clothes etc just incase he does need to go to his nan's. But he wont his just sitting in the car outside not knowing what to do.
I didnt think his mum would do that to him espically over nothing.

Oh dear your poor OH. He should grab some bits though just in case. Hope everyone calms down soon x0
-
Oh,no, poor him and you. I do hope he will be able to sort it out with his parents. Is he going to go back to yours now? Or off to his nan?0
-
Oh no, your poor OH. That's not a very nice thing for your future mother in law to do, i hope he manages to sort things out with his folks and they apologise to him.
Well done for putting down the bag earlier, i heard Matalan had a really good sale selling things for next to nothing, i would have probably bought the bag, but my willpower is just not as good as yours :-P
Is there anywhere else you could go for Valentines, like a nice hotel in the Lake District maybe? You may be able to find a good cheap deal if you look around and be very MSE. I have found a deal to Chicago for OH and I in March for £399 each including flights with American Airlines and a 4* hotel for 4 nights, so you might be able to find a super deal for England. When it comes to America i for some reason always find super deals which means we can never say no. :-)

I've done this Maria, I have taken the notion to start making my own cards, made 2 so far and looking OK! They are quite basic but I am not trying to do anything more at the moment. Each card didn't take that long to make once I laid them out. I am also blogging them so I have a record of my work!
Quite alot on sale at the moment for things like card and card toppers in places like Hobbycraft and also Lakeland believe it or not!!

Ive just been looking for valentine breaks on hoseasons and theres some lovely quiet places on there next to lakes etc very romantic. We dont want to travel too far just for the weekend so i have been looking at around the Norfolk broads. Sadly ive left it a bit late and all the the valnetines weekends are booked up apart from one place i have my eye on which is £230 for 3 nights over valentines. Its not a lodge like i wanted but does have a hot tub on the balcony!:D
