Thanks girls! 1st jan 2010!:j:j:j:jThis year is going to be a great one for all of us!

Hope you all managed to stay awake to see in the new year. My OH kept on falling asleep once it got to 11.15pm! I had to wake him up at 11.45 to watch BBC fireworks or esle he would of just slept through the whole thing.

Well we wrote down the list of things we wanted for 2010:

    - Move out - April-May
    - Marriage
    - Try for a baby
    - Holiday -Short break for valentines & summer break
    - Save money - House deposit/furniture/baby

It was easy enough writing the list out but when it came down to setting dates for each thing thats when it got hard to decide! Marriage and trying for a baby are the things we need to decide on that obviuosly take a bit more time to think and plan. Of course we need to decide what one we want to come first.
I would of liked to move out this or next month, but OH dipped into his 10k savings again and wants to have it all paid back before we move out. The one fantastic thing i know will deffo happen in DEC 2010 is my OH's CCJ will finally come off his credit history! So 2011 we will be free to finally take out a mortgage!

I also wrote down a list of things i want to do myself:

    - Drink more water for my skin and health!
    - Eat more fruit and veg
    - Make effort to do daily CB clicks
    - Do 30 mins of wii fit every week day

Ive set a savings target for myself too, i want to have £4k by June. So that means i need to save £2500 in 6 months which will be hard on my crappy wage but i think i can do it!

I have put £5 in my £365 in 365 days pot and crossed off the days on my little calender i printed off:D

Also £4 paypal from PC went in this morning and 43p quidco, so nearly at my £5 alreday today! w hoo!

I got up this morning at 8am and went downstairs and packed all the decorations away before having a cuppa or breakfast!
    Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:j
Weekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/175

    Morning Maria,

We had a quiet evening as well, nearly missed midnight as we were watching the Hangover :). Had only one glass of alcohol, very pleased with that. Off to the gym today, can't wait to get back into shape.

I like your challenges, moving out will be great, I've had the best 5 years of my life so far living with OH. Setting a date for wedding is difficult, we still haven't got one I'm afraid, just can't agree, it's on my challenge as well for 2010 just to agree on date and location. Good luck on the saving front as well, I'm sure you will do just fine. Just keep track on what you want to achieve, the diary will help.

    Happy New Year Maria!

Your list sounds good, 2010 is going to be a really good year for you and your OH.

Well done for getting up early and putting away the decs, that's also on my list for today, we have a real tree so need to try and get rid of that.

    Have a great 1st January 2010 :j

I expect there will be alot of hoovering going on at your place with a real tree hayley, those tree needles get everywhere!

We don't hang about Maria, tree is gone, decs are away and the hoovering is done. We got the tree from OH's dad and is was really good quality so only a few needles on the floor thank god, we're a bit peed though as the bottom of the tree has left a stain on our cream wool carpet. Only had the carpets 1/2 year and they weren't cheap  OH's fault for not putting anything under it.

Hope you get some good bargains at the sales. OH's just got back from Wickes and said town was dead, so hopefully everybody is recovering from last night or think the shops are closed today.
