As long as you'll take the beige colour the NEC 4551 is a few quid cheaper on Ebuyer: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/101361

That seems quite good. I'm looking to get a DVDRW. I'm probably just going to replace my current CDRW with one of these...would I need to buy anything extra like cables or scews in order to do this? Anything else I need to consider? Thanks :).

If you are going to replace your drive (ie. take the CDRW out and put the DVDRW in its place) then you wont need anything else, if you are going to add it as a second drive you will need an IDE cable and mounting screws, ebuyer will stock both cheaply.

go > here <, click download button, select the 'mirror' on the next page, and download Everest.

open it (need winzip or RAR installed), and double click the everest.exe file.
navigate to 'Computer' , > 'Summary' , and 3/4 way down the page under heading 'storage' it should tell you make and speed of your optical drive :)
