Yes wundaweb usually works with hair straightners, I learned that when I couldn't find my iron because I hardly ever use it. I think I used it about a year ago, another DP who has easy/no iron shirts since he started driving for a job they are creased within 10 mins. Most of it comes out ok when I hang/fold it properly. I did some on holiday with the sites iron because it saved on costly TD time & was raining, nowhere to hang a full load in a caravan.
One day I might be more organised...........

I love ironing, but I only do mine. I do do EVERYTHING though, even underwear.

My boyfriend lives with me but if I iron his clothes (apart from shirts) they just end up shoved in a drawer and creased up again. So with his I do the hanging up method, which I do with mine too but as far as I'm concerned it looks awful leaving it like that without ironing. He always looks scruffy and creased.

    I <3 my iron! lol
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
  • I iron as little as possible, and only do my own, OH does his own. My nan used to carefully iron everything even down to underwear and tea towls. Life is to short for that sort of thing.
  • I iron as little as possible. Uniforms for work, OH uniforms, jeans, t shirts and pillow cases. Can't be bothered to iron all bedding, but do like freshly washed & ironed pillow cases. Like several other posters, some of my clothes just have to be ironed, because they look too crumpled. I always take stuff straight out of wm and hang or tumble dry, then smooth out creases.

I hate making the packed lunches, so I iron and OH makes them!! Works for us.

I iron as little as possible. I dry stuff then fold and smooth and put away. Only things I to iron are linen trousers, so they dont get worn very often as a result!

I iron almost everything, apart from socks and bras (don't laugh, i've honestly heard of people ironing their socks!) I have a steam generator iron and some things just need put on a hangar and steamed - they don't actually need ironed. I also have a stand and hang up clothes as I go along - it makes it easier for everyone just to put away their own stuff if it's already on hangers.)

I like my things ironed. Everything looks much better. I don't like if my mum comes round to give me a hand - she folds everything up wrong! I also iron my dishcloths - but that's more to do with killing any bacteria that might be on there but they do look tidier in the drawer!I also iron my rags cloths. :o

I hope someone else comes on and admits to ironing. I enjoy doing it though.

I also iron most things but like you I have a polti steamer with an iron attachment which will iron for hours and has a button to turn up the steam if very creased and I also hang things and steam them whenever possible. I do my sons ironing - he is a dead loss and its taken me weeks to catch up with his and just back from my daughters house in ireland as she is sick in hospital ( first baby and extreme morning sickness) and have spent about 8 hours this week emptying their airing cupboard - if only people did not stuff things in when dry and folded them up properly then they would not need so much - put it on a hanger and steam it. I dont LIKE ironing but I like to see things ironed - they look and hang better in the long run.
Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j

I iron as little as possible - this week it was one hankie and my son's gi!

My DH doesn't like me ironing his shirts - he reckons it makes them wear out much quicker! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I'm not complaining :D

I don't bother ironing my DD's clothes because they will just end up scrunched up on the dog shelf anyway.

How do some of you get away with not even ironing collars and cuffs of shirts? Surely they're still wonky or creased even if they're hung up straight away?
