Consultant, do you feel that EE gives the same amount of weightloss as the old green and red plans?0
-
I had the yummiest tea this evening.:D
I had Homemade Beef Burgers & wedges with salad. I was quite impressed with my burgers (sometimes they can be bland if not seasoned correctly)
& had 2 dairylea slices & frylighted fried onions on top it was lovely & gooey.
I'm the same as everyone else, after years (on & off) of doing red & green doing Extra Easy seemed wrong, but starting again after xmas something seems to have clicked in my head.
It is difficult as I am a bread & cereal girl & i do miss my extra HEB.But because of this it is making me think & plan my meals a bit better. Long may it continue!!

Hi nic
You aren't talking to yourself, unfortunatly due to working shifts (the joys of retail- i am starting to long for a mon-fri 9 to 5 job! lol!!) i have to catch up when i get home.
I am usually a lurker,i sometimes post but will try to get more involved because i love how motivational you all are whether you are having good days or bad it really helps getting different ideas from people.
You have been really good this week. Enjoy your wine tonight!

[QU OTE=nic2075;28907363]Good to see you back Flat Eric. your meal plan for tomorrow sounds good. Did you know you can use Oxo cubes now as they are free? I quite like using bovril but I find its expensive so like the cheapness of Oxo cubes.
I must be really sad, theres been no one around all day, feel as though im talking to my self, you must all have much more interesting lives lol.
Enjoy your night out[/QUOTE]0 -
Hi All,
Quite a difficult time for me the weekends, I feel like slobbing in front of the tv and eating naughty things the whole time.
Having said that I've managed to do quite well, this has been my 4th 100% day and 3rd with no syns. Am not quite sure what to do really as I no that my consultant said that you need a few syns because your metabolism will start to slow or something if you dont? I just really dont want them right now, the kids have had a movie night complete with lots of yummy sweeties and I've sat here quite happily with sugersnap peas and a banana - weird!!!!
Today has been;
B-3 ryvita (HEb) and 3 laughing cow light (HEa), cup of tea.
Snack - Muller light.
L-jacket potato with baked beans and sweetcorn.
Snack - Nectarine
T-roast peppers, courgette, potato, onions (in fry ligt)
Snack - sugarsnap peas, banana
And plenty of water, squash (sugar free) and tea also.
Is that an ok day for a green day? I'm really scared of getting it wrong 2nd week in.

Yes if you have a third of your plate with superfree foods. It's the healthiest, most 'normal' plan of all of them in my opinion.
At the end of the day though, you have to do what suits you and your life style best. I have stopped eating bread (once my favourite food) because I found that it hindered my weight loss so I don't miss the extra HEB and I tend to drink a lot of hot water so I don't miss the HEA either.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

You need to have 2 HEAs and 2HEBs for a Green day ideally, otherwise it's more of a EE day. I would say that you could do with a little more protein too (maybe nuts or eggs if you're veggie).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Was doing fairly well today
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs mashed in a cup with 2 x wholemeal nimble (free & heb), cup of tea with 1 sugar (2syns & milk from HEA)
Lunch: omlette with one slice of ham & cheese (free, HEB & HEA)
Then I fell off the wagon and had a curry half and half (half chips half rice) from the chinese fro dinner
Will have to try harder tomorrow.0 -
Hi all,
Was thinking about making the vegetable bhajis tomorrow which are on the bodyOptimise site. The pic looks lovely but I wondered if anyone had made them and what they're like.
Thought they would go nicely with sw spicy chips and some salad!Started Slimming World 1st January 2010.

Hello, Can I join you all please?? Have previously done SW and lost 2 and 1/2 stone but that was a very long time ago and have had ds since so now have lots to loose but going to aim for 2 stone to start with....have to think of it in smallish chunks!! Will start Tuesday as that is the first day I can go shopping, my lovely friend at work has been doing it since June 09 and lost 5 and 1/2 stone she looks amazing and is an inspiration and very supportive as well, I can't afford to go to class so she has helped me with all the EE stuff as was only R + G when I did it before. I am really excited about EE as I detest quorn but love spag bol etc so although always found G days more satisfying I would quickly get bored with endless Jacket potatoes! I haven't really set myself a time scale as then I know I would panic and I am a self-saboteur! I'm not having a holiday or anything special this year (see my signature lol) so I feel that I can take it easyish. My bad habits are not finding time for breakfast in the morning and snacking after dinner also feeling the need for something sweet after something savoury, the worst one of all is that I could go all day practically without drinking anything at all so I am really going to try and drink as much water as possible! I have a Wii Fit which I will try and use on my days off and I live in a very hilly area so after I have taken ds to school I will take the 'scenic route' home (that will be twice a week). My OH isn't joining me exactly but he also wants to lose a bit so he will be doing his own thing. Looking forward to trying some of the new recipes and things especially the curries and I love stir frys and noodles and veg, not much of a fruit lover but like grapes + strawberries. Thats it really, looking forward to going shopping and getting started, just need to keep the motivation up!Goal weight....lighter than when I started0
