    Good evening everyone :hello:

Back to school tomorrow... eeek! I have no time to go back - I've just been so busy over these past two weeks!!!

On the plus side, today's pleasures were....

    1) NSD number 2 out of a possible 3. Not bad...

    2) Yellow sticker fish cakes for supper - from the freezer.

    3) DH and I finished watching "And Then There Were None". Catch it on the BBC iPlayer if you haven't seen it. Absolutely fantastic. I remember reading it years ago, but hadn't remembered the ins and outs of it.

    4) A morning with my parents. Good to see them again - and my mum fed DH and I a lovely fry up. Branflakes from tomorrow onwards...

    5) Rugby yesterday with other members of the Tigers Family! A great group of people that we're lucky to have got to know over the past year.

    Night all x

    Fresh posh basmati rice

    Pleasures for today (Sunday).

    1) A lie in!

    2) Went swimming with sons and my brother.

    3) Got back to find the point (pinnacle?) of the gable end of next door's had fallen down!!!! It is the other side of the alleyway from us (formerly MrN's house). We stood gazing at it for a while and couldn't think what had made it fall down. It looks like it has been hit by a tiny meteorite. There was a massive ridge tile, other tiles and a few bricks in the alleyway. You can see into his attic so there must be more bricks and tiles inside. The pleasure was managing to find his mobile phone number by contacting about 10 different people so he could come home. He says there is no damage in the bedroom beneath but I don't know what he's done to cover it over to stop the rain pouring in. :-(

    4) Spent the afternoon in front of the stove watching darts etc.

    5) Had a tasty lunch of posh tomato soup and brie on toast (we've a huge wheel of brie given to a friend for Christmas who doesn't like cheese so we've got it). Sausage casserole for tea then stewed apples (from brother this morning) and hm yoghurt.

    6) Managed to get the school blazers washed and dried today.

I'm back to work tomorrow :-(, smaller son is back at school but bigger son has an INSET day.

Hmm, not sure if pleasures is a correct description but here goes,

Hurrah for Arnica, after 602kg of horse trod on small toe, right foot Saturday afternoon, the bruising has come out a treat.

Migraine developed early hours of Sunday morning, pleasure that bedroom curtains are lined so bedroom was relatively dark.

Finally being sick so could start to feel better, apologies for yuckiness.

Finally managing a much needed cup of tea yesterday evening.

Nursing skills of Captain Scarlet, well he was at least quiet although have strong suspicion it was more because the cricket was on all day.
