Evening all
MhagsHere's to today being the first step on a road to complete recovery. (((Hugs to all)))
Five pleasures for Tuesday:
1. Got a ton of washing washed and dried on the line..
2. Got masses of seeds planted, the window sills are packed with trays.
3. Listened to a couple of radio plays on iplayer - doing a bit of a catch up while I got on with other things - and watched Home Fires on itvplayer too - am enjoying that one.
4. Lovely supper with my parents and DSs round at my parents place. Lots of good conversation and listening to them reminisce about VE day and VJ day. Hearing stories I hadn't heard before. Precious time with all of us together.
5. Clear sky with bright stars as I collected the last of the washing off the line when I got back home about an hour ago.
Sweet dreams

Thoughts and prayers of comfort to you and your family mhags, as you'll have read we were all waiting on news from you and are breathing a sigh of relief that your DH has come through his surgery.
BoP hope all goes well for you and Jenny on Thursday. I agree about the interface, it wasn't broke, they tried to fix it and now it is.
1. Had a flat tyre this morning due a bolt embedded in it, so phoned my garage who sent someone to come and take it away to fix it. I'm very grateful that there are still people who offer such good service.
2. nsd/npd due to the above
3. Sat in the garden at breakfast listening to bird song. It was just so peaceful, it makes me appreciate living in a country with no natural disasters.
4. Treated the grass which is beginning to thicken and turn quite green. Another six months and it will look like a lawn again
5. Enjoyed the first half of a Rosamund Pilcher film this afternoon, the second half tomorrow so something to look forward to.

At least I feel slightly less guilty about the cake than I did BEFORE going to the gym!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Evening all , a very cold and wet Melbourne. It absolutely lashed with rain over night , I've never seen the back garden look so wet.
I managed some sort of sleep on and off until 4.30am, then I phoned hospital to see how OH was doing. He had been in recovery for another 3 hours after surgery as his blood pressure was very low. Made a few phone calls home.
Took DD2 to school.
Train into city, tram up to hospital , mentally prepared myself for going in with a smile. A poorly OH but a brighter than last time at same stage OH.
Sat for a few hours with him. Managed to communicate through app in his phone. He texts, it talks. Bit exhausting for him though at the moment as he has tubes and drains attached all over.
Tram and train home , not too long to wait for either. Tiny snoozette between train stations.
Having mince pie and veggies for tea. Then an early bed for me I'm sure, back to work tomorrow and then visiting afterwards.....the long days start now.
Thank youu so much for your kindness and support, it means so much0
