Told you, I bagged a brace, but here is a new born!0
-
Pleasures for today, before sons come home:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Porridge for breakfast with blueberries and banana.
3) Did some work on the allotment and brought home the very last parsnips, some rainbow chard and rhubarb.
4) Popped to Sainsburys so have something to eat now!
5) Did the ironing.
6) Sons home just now and we will then go swimming.
7) Listened to the Archers (the omnibus before today's) and will listen to today's once in bed.0 -
And note, here is BoP about to get steamed up yesterday. Not the slight tinge of grey in the hair, excepting that it is still original and did not go rusty!0

1. My last day of being 43
2. DD treated me to a lot of 'spa' treatments in the comfort of my own bed - feet, hands, back, face, tummy, head - all were massaged and pampered
3. I've finished and sent off my lesson plans for the week, phew!
4. I've also resourced for loads of other lessons and have made a fab ppt and activity for le 1er mai - we're having an international day at school and I'm so pleased I can do something Frenchy
5. Scrumptious veggies for dinner, and for once I didn't go overboard on the roast potatoes....maybe I'm growing up?! Nah....0 -
Good evening everyone :hello:
A few pleasures for yesterday and today....
1) Signed up to the local gym, with my induction being on Wednesday. Hoping to shape up...
2) Linked to number 1, I've lost 1.5lbs! :j :j Definite incentive to go to the gym and do more exercise in general.
3) Walked loads and yesterday was a NPD. :j
4) Watched the rugby. Near mutiny when a member of the opposition tackled one of ours... and then walloped him whilst on the ground. The referee seemed to have not seen it, but the 24,000 spectators had. I was all prepared to head down to the pitch and drag him off myself.
5) Time with DH - saw the start of a cycle race today. DH wasn't riding in it! http://cicleclassic.co.uk/Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Mhags - thinking of you and your family, sending hugs, strength and prayers your way.0 -
Evening all
Frith, I like blueberries on my porridge as well.
Five pleasures for Sunday:
1. Relating to the above, have run out of blueberries so had to settle for treacle this morning.
2. Dismantled our old broken/sort of repaired/broken again coatstand and replaced it with an almost identical unbroken one I'd got from Freegle. That corner of the hall now looks heaps better.
3. We ran a good sports training session today - lots of positives.
4. Stopped off at my parents on the way home and we had tea and a chat for nearly two hours. I'm loving the contact I have with them. It feels like precious time, especially given their ages.
5. Popped down to the allotment after supper for DS1 to see all the work I'd done on it since he was last around. He said all the right things.:rotfl:
Hugs to all that want them (and extra to mhags and family).
Sweet dreams
