Whoop whoop Congratulations KK.:j:beer::j
Firth: I am so sorry after all that, I hope everyone it recovering and ok, and they are accommodating in getting him back in soon
Sparrer: Glad it was a lovely break, and get well soon wishes to your mum.
For Yesterday
1.Work was very busy but it was also nice to fly by.
2.I ignored my “want” to order take away and used up anything in the fridge left today to create a carbonara with mushrooms for dh (food of the devil as far as I’m concerned):o and meal planned for a curry with greens tomorrow. In short we will have a very empty fridge as of tomorrow evening.
3.DH is very happy he got a load of freebies including a free t shirt for me today.:D
4.Paid a very hefty bill, I have managed to get this debt gradually down over 3 years now, next month will be the final payment, so so happy to have “nearly” got there.:money:
5.Washing / drying load done.
6.Watering the garden and watching as the flowers on the bigger plants are arriving, counting the flowers coming out on the hydrangea and mallow and lillys, and we have 6 nearly ready strawberries and a load of green ones waiting to ripen.
For Today:
1.Finally I made work talk to me and I am leaving in 2 and a bit weeks, it’s a pleasure but I think having finally had it confirmed I feel a lot more relaxed well make that shattered.
2.Made a curry from scratch
3. Woodpecker noisily demanding a refill.
4. Pilates was better
5. Home now watered the front and back gardens, suspect I’ve been bitten a tad, time for a camomile tea and maybe a croissant:p0 -
I've just popped on to post my Wednesday pleasures as I'm now on Thursday ( last day of my working week....sort of!) and just read your amazing news kittikins that's fantastic and well done you ....see you should always listen to us....we are always right!
So hobble, hobbled my way through last couple of days with a very sore foot, more sore than usual pain (have had sore right foot since January when I tore a ligament) popped into physio to pick up DD1 on my way home from work and asked to make an appointment with podiatrist....did I have time right now? , yes I did. So ....90 minutes later I leave with a letter for my GP saying I possibly have a stress fracture in my big toe!....the treatment for this is to wear a moon boot for 6-8 weeks:( who is going on holiday in 2 weeks and was hoping to do lots of money saving walking ( also to cancel out the food I plan to enjoy!)
I have to wait a couple of days and see if pain subsides then go to GP and arrange a bone scan! Sob!
Anyway, apart from foot pain , I had another busy day at work ( I am on my feet for 8 hours constantly) which was good , we had a very funny situation that had me and colleague in tears of laughter! Only brought half a loaf home as we had sold out of everything else which is good!
When I finally got home I made macaroni cheese which was delicious.
I'd had a good chat with friend from home in the morning so we've caught up on our news again!
The night before I'd had a good chat with my niece and then my little great niece, melted my heart with 'auntie mhagster I love you' cannot wait to see her in 15 days time!
This morning I have been up early ,in anticipation of sore feet later and have made 2 lasagnes, chopped potatoes for making wedges and made meringues. We are having an early birthday tea for son tonight as he will be out and about tomorrow . Dining table is set!
Right I'd better get a wriggle on and get ready for work! Have a lovey day!
I'm sure you've all heard of the passport chaos.....we sent sons of weeks ago ( and paid almost £150 as we are over here!) ....our new visa application is on hold until we get it back. He was hoping to travel to UK with us and that's not going to happen, luckily we hadn't booked him a flight. He cannot have a medical for visa without his passport and our application cannot process further without him having a medical!0 -
Oh Mhagster!
My friend walked on a stress fracture for months, it was finally x-rayed when virtually healed. So painful and so inconvenient for you. Hugs.
YAY KK! That is wonderful! I am so pleased for you. See previous post! Hugs.

Good news, kittikins!
This being written on phone. Still no internet.
Another vile day which I shall record only so I csn look back on it in a few months and laugh. Hopefully. ...
Took smaller son to open afternoon at high school. Let's just say we didn't get to see the other children. Smaller son punched, kicked, roared, headbutted the wall and somehow in one of his fights with me to get out, managed to squash my arm against the door handle until I thought it would break. I'd been bounced off that door several times but the handle was vicious!
Second day in a row I was faced with professionals in a state of shock and who didn't know what to do. Today is the only day I have ever considered finding him a specialist boarding school just do bigger son and I can have a rest. I don't bruise easily and am in my darker summer plumage but I found 4 arm bruises and a kick bruise on my leg.
Pleasures for today!
1) not a bad sleep
2) lunch in town with 2 college friends (twins)
3) got smaller son a duvet with london underground map on and he loves it! Cars duvet has come off.
4) took bigger son to climbing lesson
5) enjoyed one born every minute0 -
Oh Frith.
I hope that you are given a way forward, above all, you need to keep yourself safe to continue to keep both sons safe. I know you know that.
There are wiser counsels than mine out there.
I'm glad SS had something good in his day too. The Underground map is rather cool and iconic.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Was just diving in after Prayer Brekkie at Vicarage[so good to be there again]to wish maman of sparrer well, when I spotted kk's WONDERFUL NEWS, then Frith's unhappy-for-all day.....
So, please don't consider it a bogof post when I send all I can in hugs and empathy as and where and however needed to you all. Frith - dear smaller son and you and bigger son....that's doubles to all of you, with your favourite topping[I know it won't be chocolate for Frith]
Lovely welcomes to you lulu and welcome back, giddy.
Have to run now, but will be back later.
Once again, trois huzzahs pour kittikins!!! - absolutely fantastic news and what a nose-thumber at certain peeps you've had to tolerate along the way.
Take care, everyone.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Uncork the Champaign
For some, the chase is over. Woodpeckers, Blue Grey Tits, No Chicken still, Still were the waters this morning. Ouch.
5 Pork Pie, cheese salad last night. And Raffles bought his own choice of main course in. One thinks the anti humanoid fence that surrounds the eyesore beauty spot, has been infiltrated once more. I think the stock could be dangerously low now. But the dilemma is, if he brings his own main course of newt, great crested, and enjoys it, who will take the rap.
4 Was out last night watching the thirst daters again. Think giddy legs BoPsie enjoys watching them. Wobbleade was nice as well
3 Well it is Thursday day, and it is hotting up a little. Yous all knows what that means, Yellow Weekends. Now, the curry!
2 day the Cricket Starts Wonder who will still be in play come Monday!
1 Doors are wide open
Oh, no I did not forget. Jenny gis a :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls to KK. Mum BoP was a teacher, things were different for her. When she got married, she returned after Easter 1956, and told in her maiden name shoe will leave at the end of term. She became a Deputy Headmistress, but until after BoP was born did she go back to teaching, not because they would had taken her back, but they needed so many for the baby boomers. Attitude she had to fight, was how could she be capable of teaching children, with kids of her own. She proved them wrong, to a point.0 -
1) Seeing Kittikins' post when I got to work this morning. :j:T:j:T
2) Lovely, warm yellow stuff - it feels almost like summer!
3) Found a nice, comfy pair of trainers RTC to £10 and, while I was waiting for the shop assistant to bring the partner to the one on display, found a fluffy yellow jumper RTC to the same price. :money:
4) Went out into the garden to do some watering and Isis didn't run away. :j She didn't come outside, either, but it's a start!
5) Beefburger and salad for dinner tonight.
Frith - I'm so sorry to hear about your and your son's problems.Back after a very long break!0 -

Evening everyone :hello: Tricky child remains tricky in school. It's so draining. I had a bit of a meltdown on Tuesday in front of the headteacher (but not the class!) as it's really getting me down.
Plus, DH had a meltdown on the same day when his 23 yr old colleague handed in his notice. DH is questioning his own career choice, is quite unhappy in his current role and even more so that his (much) younger colleague is getting up and moving industry. Unhelpfully, another of DH's colleagues told him he's too old now to do anything about it!
My pleasures for the past couple of days:
1) Kittikins has a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Yay! Congratulations!!! :j  :j
2) Been to the supermarket near my parents and have stocked up on Seabrooks crisps. Mmmmmmmm, yum. They were on special offer too! :j
3) House sitting for an evening just before my parents return from their holiday. Dog has been walked - stunning evening. I'm so, so lucky.
4) Thought you might want to read the write up of last Sunday's cake club! http://clandestinecakeclub.co.uk/2014/06/12/love-stamford-love-cake/
5) Time for bed. The dog is dropping unsubtle hints that she needs cuddles too.
