    Sunday's pleasures:

    Nice drive in countryside
Nice chat with friend from home

Bought 2 more gifts for girls for Christmas, was putting them away ( tidily this time) and found the kids first shoes...awwh hard to believe they ever had feet that small...they all have big banana feet! Gave DD2 her first ballet shoes.

Bought rtc meat at DD1 's work and got her staff discount too. These will do several meals.

    Had a Sunday snooze.

Looking forward to Sunday TV and the bonus of not having to go to bed too early if I don't want to!

    Have a lovely day :)

    Morning

Ampersand - Thank you for the prayers for my friend, the location sounded perfect and I know she will aprreciate them.

    Pleasures for yesterday,
    1. Up early so sat in the garden morning coll air with a cup of jasmine tea and listened to the birds.
    2. Shopping done and way under budget for the week and it contained a couple of very nice steaks and a bottle of fake pimms.
    3. Yummy dinner at home with OH we were going to go out but I cooked the steaks with some king prawns, salad, rosti potatoes and a pepper sauce plus we had a glass of wine. All very nice and easy to do.
    4. Little snooze in the afternoon
    5. Chat with DD on the phone, asked her if she wanted to come home today as there was a weeks work for her but she declined. Can't say I blame her as if I was on holiday know I wouldn't but now she is older we want her to have the chance to make her own decisions. Must admit she seemed baffled as to why I was asking.

Looking forward to popping into Windsor today as have a voucher to use in Molten Brown. I wouldn't pay full price for their stuff but I do like it when its free. :D

Hugs to all who need them

    Good morning all !

MIA as trouble with "Speak Speak" again now gone Murdoch (sorry ampersand)

LFS - very liberating it is too ! Factor 300 on some bits though ;)

Frith - I LOVE tinkering around in scrapyards :D Used to be a necessity with the old VW's I had. Men would either "help" or just stare in amazement/pity at a female dismembering a car.

a few for a the last two day

    1. Picking blackberries, courgettes, a marrow (oops) , dwarf beans , rhubarb and peas from the garden

    2. Marrow in cheese sauce .

    3. HM lasagnes meat and quorn

    4. Banked some money that OH had borrowed :D Not a bad return from the Spanish bank at the moment.

    5. The terrier, more here than at DM's. Sneaks in at every opportunity even when I am in the bath !

6.OH at work, got up with him to take the terrier out early. She answers to "terrier" now:rotfl:

    7. Many snoozes

    8. Hair cut which I quite like for once.

    9. Planning theatre trips with DM

    10. Animals in garden - Stephen Seagull now knocks on the back door at 5am , Ork the bald headed Jackdaw comes down on his own and cackles for food. Hens sitting in a little group in the afternoon shade. These things make my day.

    11. OH has gone out to do the food shopping with a list...

    12. received my cert. re the medication course

Have a lovely day all !

  • Fish, chips and peas today. With excess Christmas pud. Served with lumps in Custards

Ms BoP got the wobbleades in ok yesterday. Burped through. Nice now for Sunday Ease. Watched a Terry Thomas yesterday online (No TV Licence month 4) Thinks Ms BoP may be getting a prush on him. Watched iPlayer about WSC. How typical of the BBC. The Navy slipped through at night in case it provoked the Germans. My Harris BBC. Germany had already mobilised. The fact they will not say are. 1 We had not fought a European war for a 100 years. 2 We only had a professional army in about 1960. prior to this, was mostly territorial and a state policeman. But, be nice to Germany. That was Noels record you played in the 1940s

5 Now four months since the TV licence was legally given up. No boots in the door yet. Total MSE saved £45.40

4 Ms BoP has sourced another Terry Thomas film for the night, on the Lovefilm. Half time candies as well.

    3 Befores I forgets

    [strike]11, 10, 9[/strike], 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

I nose, no movement, but workdays only counted

2 gether with Ms BoPs again. Just had me three S's for Sundays. Sit down, Shave and Shower. All spiced up as well.

1 Don't play with the children all the time and forget the one you loved to have them.

    1) Lousy night's sleep last night (partly my own fault but partly just one of those things), but a non-work day so it didn't matter that I finally fell asleep properly just as I was thinking of giving up and getting up early this morning.

    2) Watched a bit of the road race cycling: it's not a sport that usually interests me greatly but it's interesting to see my home county (Surrey) on television and to wave to my sister as the bikes went through her town.

    3) Ordered my rail ticket for my Devon holiday, and managed to get an advance ticket which cost me just over half of the normal price. :money:

    4) Picked a bowl full of French beans, my first HG veg of the year.

    5) Caught next door's b&w cat in my garden hunting sparrows, and managed to persuade her that having a fuss was more fun! :)
Back after a very long break!

4.Took terrier to the park and she lost her ball and refused to get in the boot -she went all "wooden" on me .Little monkey is so easy to pick up so she went in with a little help.

Well done on distracting next doors mog CCP, sparrers are a dying breed without feline help!
Like your No.10 birdie post chicken

    1. Not bright but warm this morning, sat outside with my cuppa watching Mr and Mrs Blackbird raiding my strawberry bed. Not keen on strawbs so was quite happy to let them have a fruity breakfast feast
    2. Met with friends, there was a newbie among us and she and I hit it off straight away
    3. Usual Sunday lunch out, had childrens portion of lasagne and a green salad, and vanilla ice cream afterwards. Just enough after yesterday's starchy meals
    4. siesta
    5. just started to rain which saves me watering

    Sweet dreams :)

    1. Made chicken stock after stripping the meat off the bones - bagged up and frozen for chicken'n'rice for another 3 meals :)

    2. Raspberries and ice cream for pudding - yummy.

    3. Sunshine.

    4. Two loads of washing put out, dried, brought in, folded and put away - smelling of summer.

    5. Hanging out the washing this morning feeling the warmth of the sun and a soft breeze, listening to church bells and children playing.

1.Slept and slept a bit more up a tad late.:o
2.We popped out to get out and wandered around a garden centre but came out empty handed with some inspiration instead, boy I am going to be busy at the end of my notice period.
3.Used up odds and ends in a slow cooking casserole, then made a bread pudding with anything about as it’s DH’s favourite stodge.:p
4.Sat in the garden with a cuppa and the kindle for an hour.
5.Time to diet a little over the next few weeks as I am feeling too bloated.
6.As I told Murdoch where to go, I’ve bought the MSE code for Ilovefilm, I’ve also set up a ddebit to put the money I would have spent on Sky into the ISA, as I don’t think Murdoch needs it.:)
