Sorry but when I posted I failed to say that it was a business transaction, a thousand apologies for my mistake, I think I will just have to swallow the cost and look closer at t and c's. Thanks for all help given. Toodle Pip !!

The post I replied to made no reference to a business, so it is right to assume they are a consumer and as such...

Why not try asking them all they may allow it. I dont understand why people post so many questions like this without first asking the retailer, If they don't give you a response you like then post.

I think this forum should be renamed "Consumer Rights and Consumer Wrongs" as so often it involves people making an error and then hoping someone will quote some legislation that absolves them of their mistake and holds the other party responsible.

Can anyone remind me when our obligation as consumers to actually read t&cs and bite the bullet if you make a mistake was removed

    About what?

If you are relating to reply 33, then there is nothing to say, except maybe, the poster I replied to, (oggsy), clarified they where a business after I (and others),"assumed" they were consumers, not a wrong assumption when the majority, (nearly if not all), of the posters on this board are consumers and not businesses, something which posters should emphasise if they are a business, as obviously different rules apply!
