Daughter has just been up to our Aldi and their super six is the same as the one advertised in NOTW @ 39p each.

Apologies seems they ran into a supply problem on a few items and in turn the retail prices changed also !

Hmmm, I just bought some 39p spring onions only to discover when I got home that the receipt says Asparagus £1.29.

Give their head office a ring 0844 406 8800 and let them know you are not happy, it will cost you petrol money to go back to get the difference.

This has happened on the odd occasion to me but it has only been pence, 40p at the most and I couldn't be bothered to get any money back.

The thing is this seems to happen quite a lot, a couple of friends who shop at different stores around the country have had the same problem in the past.

I know what you mean, but since I was visiting there again this afternoon I did mention it and they refunded me without quibbling.

FWIW my experience is that it's a pretty rare occurrence.

Always check ur reciept in here it's the worst supermarket i've ever been overcharged in, nearly every week....

Apology accepted, though I was a little disappointed when I saw that the avocados were 39p each and not 2 for 29p, thought these would be nice in a salad. Will have to see how much Kingston market are selling these for.

Mind you I’m not overly disappointed as I did save a bit on beetroots and spring onions. Also, I discovered today that Aldi sell mini chinois as well, had these when I was over in Austria last week and wondered if I could get them here in the UK, was surprised to find they sold them too. Ace! Tesco also sell chinois too but sell them for slightly more than Aldi, Aldi’s are £1.26, Tesco’s are £1.39. Yum, yum!

Checked my receipt just now as well after reading Stompa’s post; all prices appear to be correct thankfully.
