    The new super six should be starting today.

    Hopefully will have a little more variation this time - last 4 weeks have been dire

    Vine tomatoes-69p
    Peppers-69p
    Melons-69p
    Jersey Royals-69p
    Cherries-69p
    Nectarines-69p.

    I think there might have been something else but I was in a rush...bought loads of peppers to chop and freeze at that price

    In my Aldi today new super six are:

    3 mixed peppers
    melon
    new potatoes ( 1 kg I think)
    cherries
    6 large vine tomatoes
    nectarines

    All 69p

    Cherries, Tomatoes and potatoes SHOULD be cheaper in greengrocers and on market stalls at moment, if ther Cherries are not cheaper they will be better in size than the small fruit Aldi are selling !

    Peppers,Nectarines and Melons are good deals at moment.
    The melons may have a slightly earthy smell to them as it is still early season in the Murcia region of Spain ;)

    i was disappointed with the melons...looked awful...the peppers were tiny....unusual for the super 6 i normally buy loads
    onwards and upwards

    Back to Salads again I know Avocados are in the mix but that is about it at moment .
