pako i have never had anything fruit and veg wise from aldi that has been dodgy always found it to be fine....cant think of anything anyway

If its the vacuum packed beetroot I will get some as I bought some the last time it was on offer and repacked it and froze it, and enjoyed them one at a time when I needed one. They freeze beautifully and as I live alone it was cheaper than buying a jar of them:)

jackie that is a good idea with the beetroot i got 10 packs today there was loads and will get another 10 next week to keep me going while it is on offer

The current Super Six runs until the 1st February, or is supposed to!! I went in this morning to get more celery and it has been taken off the current Super Six at 35p and on the racks with the other salad stuff for 47P!

The next Super Six selection starts on the 2nd February and consists of:

Mangetout 155g
Babycorn 135g
Shallots 300g
Asparagus 170g
Chestnut mushrooms 250g
Chantenay carrots 500g

All 59p

Of course this could be subject to change as with the current Super Six!
