    Huge investment by Aldi in the hope that the custom that attracts will also do at least 60% of their Xmas shop with them.

    Manged to buy 6 massive bananas for 11p each today. Even the cashier looked surprised at the size of them. If I had brought them by weight at another supermarket they would have cost way over £1.10 odd.

    Ohh by the way. Current super six is still running to Saturday night, so if you want to get some of the oranges at 59p for 5 in a pack, I would move quickly.

    I got 3 packs, so a Vitamin C overdose for me.:tongue::D

    Looks like a bit of price matching going on.

    Asda have broccoli, sprouts, parsnips and carrots for 20p.

    Lidl have sprouts, potatoes, carrots, parsnips and shallots for 19p.

    Looks like current offer still going until new years day, or until they have got rid of all their stock. Still a bit left in mine, so got some new years cheap veg!

    Next super 6 is 2nd to 18th January, all 59p.
