  • Plum tree over provided this year. Can't bear to look at another plum just now......

I'll be getting plums. Not a single tree round here has produced a plum! I can't believe it.

Christmas is coming so all the supermarkets will be trying for our business.

Don't forget this coming thursday 26th, a £5 off a £40 spend voucher at Aldi if you buy the Daily Mirror

Can anyone give any advice on how to spend that much? ;)

I generally have several boxes full of stuff and pay between £15 & £20.

Yes - good point. A couple of bottles of booze would probably make up the difference.

(Quite partial to Aldi Amaretto - though being Aldi, that's only £4.99).

Yes, Xmas booze is good shout and also you might find some bits suitable for presents, food or otherwise.

I'll definitely be getting a pineapple in the next day or so, the parrot had a little bit off of a ham and pineapple pizza I was eating and he loved it.

Avoid the plums, unless cooking with them.
The variety is Angeleno, it has a very small period of its life where it is edible, it's either very firm almost crunchy or soft and no juice.
Was developed as a long life variety in the USA a few years back.
Horrible time of year as northern and Southern Hemispheres change the seasons of availability.
