I'm off for 3 packs of onions today before the offer ends.
Excellent quality and value.
Farmfoods do 2 x 1.5kg packs of onions for £1.20 = 40p per kg and great for cooking. But the Aldi net ones are far, far superior.
Plenty of cheap carrots about at the moment.

My dad pointed out today that 'There figs are 11p cheaper than ASDA', as he loaded his trolley with about six packets! :rotfl:0 -
Looks like your Dad and my parrot have cornered the fig market!
I'll be getting the apples from the new deals, may try a pineapple. When cheap I use scrubbed unpeeled salad potatoes in stews in the autumn / winter so will get a pack of those as well0 -
Salad potatoes and chestnut mushrooms for me. Fussy with my plums (ahem!)
Don't like pears.0 -

I really don't enjoy supermarket plums: nasty, sour and never seem to ripen. Given me a good president plum from the fruit stall though, yum! Pity the season is so brief.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
