Cherries in a 150gm pack and size 24mm which is about medium, look and taste fine.
Nectarines are 4 pack medium size and look good value. (keep in fridge in this weather after 12 hours ripening in this current weather.
Tomatoes ...are English and are quite tasty.
Mushrooms ... good value and ideal for BBQ kebabs.
Butternut Squash ..decent size.
Courgettes ... 3 pack good size.
Over all a very good super 6."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

Peel cube and roast with mushrooms, courgettes and tomatoes and mix with a nice risotto rice. Always like to add a red pepper into the roast tin also."Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

My local only had the corgettes, squash and cherries in stock - typical as I would have bought the other 3!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

Walked down to Ald. today - breeze here on the coast.
Got the SS Nectarines + SS Tomatoes. They had Celery - 49p but not the carrots someone on here mentioned. There were 3 peppers for 99p instead of £1.49 but I resisted buying them.
Walked home via Asd. - got Whoops Peppers - 3 in pack for 50p so I got 2 packs.
Total of £2.87 spent - but I got a lot - all fresh stuff and good quality - 5 Nectarines/8 Tomatoes/ Big Head of Celery + 6 Peppers.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Nice haul of goodies Florenceem!
I went and bought 2 packs of cherries, 2 packs of the vine tomatoes, a pack each of courgette and nectarine on the super 6 offers and cue, salad onions and iceberg for 49p each and 2 mango for 99p.
Had a lovely salad and then cherries and a mango afterwards. Just the job in this weather!0 -
Hiya, this is a gorgeous recipe for butternut squash and as long as you get coconut milk from the ethnic aisle of the SM, a Chinese supermarket or other local place, then it is cheap too! From Appetite for Reduction by Isa Chandra Moscovitz (one of my best recipe books!)
