Ah, now I really AM intrigued
That's great, although our situations are slightly different re house at mo. If I get the salary I hope (and don't take on a silly mortgage on a dream cottage ), we could build up a good amount, once the wedding and my parents are paid off of course :rolleyes:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Know the feeling. We could buy a house up to £190k, but we're looking at about the £120k mark so we can overpay and move somewhere awesome in 5 years instead of struggling and me have to keep working after we have kids. We're looking at the ideal location but a rubbish house tonight. Right village (although not the best part of it, but its so small none of it is exactly a crime den!) just not the central village green. Pay off is its a quieter street though.
Guess we're lucky not to really owe anything anymore so once the wedding/house buying is out the way things should be relatively pressure free.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's great! Hope you can make the house work for you. Unfortunately we're working to a different time scale to you and NIM (as I'm 34) so will have to do things in a different order than I would like! Still, the debt to Mum and Dad is for the house so paying that off is like overpaying on the mortgage, without the interest :TThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Yay new thread! :j
Dinah I'm obviously in on the weight challenge, but even though I've posted it before, can you not post my weight on your little list at the start of this thread cuz I'm embarrassed!
The diet is not gonna go well today. We are seeing Simon Amstell tonight so are grabbing takeaway cuz we don't have time to eat a proper tea. I'll have soup for lunch though.
Looking forward to seeing you achieve yet another challenge Dinah! We'll be cheering you along the way!

Ah, don't feel embarrassed Zigmeister, it's just a number. The important thing is that you're committed to being healthier so that's something to be proud of!

I can heartily NOT recommend the couscous - I'm starving again already. Filling up on diet coke though as it's a pub tea tonight!
ETA - Bails - no news is good news - I'm sure if something was wrong you'd have heard by now. White water rafting? He must be mental!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Technically the area of Egypt we went to was Asia not Africa apparently!
Well, not so much up and running as existing with a limp.
Yep we went to the zoo - will post penguin pics this evening. Can anyone remember who the photo hosting site was you recomended to me where I have an account?! I think it might have been Cinny recomended it.
Wouldn't worry yet Bails, probably just a bit slow to drive back is all.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
