Eeek what did you do to make it bonus abuse?!
We become saved by Kieran moving out and stopping physical contact before the wedding..... I can handle the physical contact but not the moving out.

We're having pretty big issues with it. I mean I know a lot of churches are anti-pre marital sex, but to say our wedding isn't something to celebrate and we're going to hell is a step beyond.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

'Saved' ie if we were saved when we die we'd go to heaven. As we're not 'saved' they consider us to be going to hell. Its a really fundamentalist church and I'm not very happy with them saying our wedding isn't something to celebrate.
I certainly wouldn't be happy being married by someone who says I'm going to hell!! I don't know how you put up with being judged all the time, I couldn't do it!
Good luck with the Tibetan Bails, wow! Puts my Spanish to shame!!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

They should be thrilled that there is a young couple so dedicated to their faith, not condemning it. I don't believe in hell anyway, it's a load of rubbish. How can someone as normal as you and NIM be destined to go to hell? It just makes no sense.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Tut, tut, no it doesn't Tete!I can't even speak one word yet, and my Spanish is appalling (something I hope to rectify by moving to South America )
I find the whole church thing quite difficult to take too TBH. We're getting married outside, no one to judge us thereThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

At times I really wish it wasn't important to me to have the wedding right in the eyes of God, but it is so I'm just going to have to make things the best I can. The CofE church has bells, thats sold it to me right thereDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We had a church wedding but the priest was lovely and the only thing he asked us to do was to go to confession before we got married. We did that and we also went to mass 2 days after we got married, although it was in Catalan so we couldn't understand a word of it! He contacted the wedding planner and said it made his day that we came to mass after he got married. There was no talk of fire and brimstone though.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Sounds very reasonable CMD. We're just choosing not to get married in a church because it's not our religion, and we love the outdoors. Not sure what contingency we'll have for the rain though! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Are you getting married in the UK Bails? When are you hoping to get married?
Most weddings I have been to have been church weddings but my friends got married in the hotel gardens in Spain 2 months ago and it was beautiful. Fab setting and a very special ceremony!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
