  • Bless your OH Wendz - there's nothing in this word would make me join the police the carp they have to put up with.

Yep, I've been cleaning a fair bit too! We're silly aren't we? Wo do have a lot of family round on Boxing day though!

I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to more dieting but definitely want to get back on track with weight loss, especially now I know it's possible!

Enjoy your lunch out Poddle, yep I'm with you on adding the easily achievable/already done to my lists! Hey it boosts morale!

I think my Mum still believes it too, she's going manic cleaning the house today! I'm waiting till tomorrow though, cleaning my room today leaves too much time for it to re-mess itself before Christmas.

Won £20 on BB today :j Still have 1 more bingo game but I'm not holding out much luck for winning on it.

Dinah - I weighed myself and got scared! I'm in for the new challenge when it starts, want to get to 9 1/2 stone before my 19th. Which at the moment means loosing 1/2 stone, but we'll see what damage Christmas causes first :o

We're having a little party tomorrow so I'm a bit loathe to do too much cleaning because it'll just get messed up again! We've learnt our lesson from last time though- not to let someone leave red wine in a soggy paper cup on our unvarnished pine coffee table! There's still a pink ring on the table that OH's been trying to get off since September!

I'm planning on putting all of the food on disposable platters so we can just tell everyone to throw something in the bin liner before they go so there's not too much mess to deal with on Christmas morning! It'll be bad enough trying to get to my Mum's for 9 without having to face a wrecked living room!

The party sounds fun! That is a great idea about the disposable stuff too.

I managed to make it to the shops, pretty manic but managable. Got OH a selection pack and also some lunch and dinner so shouldn't need to leave the flat again.

Good idea with the dishes Birdie! Is this what you're dressing up as a Candy Cane for? (I hope I'm saying this to the right person, I'm not weird!)

Just finished the last Christmas bits, iced the Christmas cake and wrapped the presents for OH to give to my family. Really need to get started on STP though - 74 tracks till payout!

I have just finished my wrapping too. Have also got the wii back in the box ready to take to my parents tomorrow. My Mum thinks it would be a great idea to play wii fit on christmas day as well haha.

    Good luck with STP Cinny!

I was going to dress up as a Candy Cane but there's only one haberdashers in town and they've got no red ribbon! OH bought me a Mrs Claus costume yesterday so I'm going to wear that, just need some big red frilly knickers to wear underneath it as it's a little short!

My Mum's asked me to bring mine round to my parents' on Sunday when we go for Christmassy Sunday Lunch, she loves it! She's just bought a PS3 (for the Blu-Ray and to watch films from her USB stick...not that we download films for her or anything... :o) and now she wants a Wii!

  • Hi all,

Flower - what a beautiful present your friend got you. That is something you can treasure forever and I am glad it made you feel better.

Hi to everyone else! It is funny to hear of you all losing weight when I am putting it on. I weighed myself today and am 10stone 2lbs. I have put on 9lbs since I got pregnant. I am quite happy with that as it is all bump so shouldn't be too hard to shift after the baby is born. I reckon I will put on about a stone and a half which is normal.

I have a bad cold today and am hoping it will shift by Xmas day. I hate feeling like this :(
