Yay for getting the shoes Dinah! You've got me looking at Debenhams stuff now, I want this!

I don't envy you working tomorrow Flower, hope it goes quickly for you! I'm over at my Grandparents which I'm stupidly giddy about.

Flower - at least 5 hours isn't too bad tomorrow, hope it goes quickly!

We need to get a bigger duvet, poor OH's feet get freezing in the night bless him.

Lovely boots, Dinah! Worth waiting for... :) And the duvet cover's gorgeous too - there's nothing like clean white linen ad a big squishy duvet!

Have fun tomorrow Cinny, it's nice that you're going to your grandparents - that's what Christmas is all about!

I've just been doing my domestic goddess duties - iced the Christmas cake, made gingerbread and white chocolate and cranberry cookies, but now OH wants to make a yule log! So he's at the shops buying ingredients... Boys!

I'm intrigued by the coke cupcakes, Birdie! Let us know how they go :D

I'm happy to do a 2010 weight loss challenge - I don't get back from my hols until 16th Jan, so we could start Monday 18th if that's okay with everyone? You can all get a nice little headstart!

Lie in on Christmas Day? Lucky! My Mum comes and wakes me up at 5am. Worst part is she says 'you wake everyone else up for me' and goes back to bed so I look like the one who still gets up early! No one believes me when I say it's Mum either.

Starting on the 18th sounds like a plan Poddle!! Gives me time to have a couple false starts from the 1st Jan.

Just started snowing really heavily here, eee!

Haha Cinny that is funny. I can just imagine them all moaning about you getting them up while your Mum seems all innocent.

I am still up at about 8am on Christmas day, as is my sister. We are like big kids.

18th is fine by me, will try to get going a bit in advance though, get back in the food focus swing. I ate a LOT of chocolate today, very bad. I think I'm going to have to go to the doctors in January about my knee, I've been having issues walking for months, and havne't been able to ride a bike for years, but its getting to the stage on bad days I can't climb stairs, so I guess I better find out whats going on with it.

  • You can't help but be up early on Christmas day I don't think! Poor Cinny though I guess that's what you get when you're the baby!

Hey Cinny I've just made a brownie from your recipe and it's gone really weird - rose really high and the crust seemed to separate fron the middle, which stayed very gooey for a very long time - is this because I used drinking choc rather than cocoa do you think? Will taste OK I think but might be a bit messy for my Christmas jars!

Bad bit is, my Mum joins in with the complaining. I'm putting something heavy infront of my door this year.. sadly OH isn't over but I think my TV table will do the trick!

Hmm, couldn't you dust the sides with icing sugar or something to make them a little less sticky? I use drinking chocolate in my brownies though, so it might not be that.

Yikes about the knee Dinah! Good idea see the Doctor, hope it isn't anything major.

Decided no moneymaking now for 3 days (except bingo britain), so tomorrow I'm doing whatever I want. Only thing I know I'll be doing is watching The Snowman!
